JKPSC Exam Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Examination 2025, candidates must check out the eligibility criteria to verify whether they are eligible or not. If candidates do not fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the notification pdf, then their application will be rejected. The following are the eligibility requirements in terms of age restriction, nationality, and educational background: 

• Educational qualifications - Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree—or its equivalent—in any track from a university that has received official recognition from the government to be eligible to appear for the test.
• Nationality - Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Candidates must be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
• Age limit - There is a minimum age requirement to apply for JKPSC. A candidate must be between 21 and 32 to sit for the test.
