JEE Advanced Counselling and Seat Allotment Process Start Now, Check Here:

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2019 is conducted at the National Level by the National Testing Agency [NTA]. This exam is held twice a year in online mode only. In the current year, JEE Advanced 2019 exam was successfully conducted on 27th May 2019 in two shifts. After qualifying the JEE Advanced 2020, candidates will be eligible to get admission into bachelor’s, Integrated master’s & dual degree courses in all the IITs. The aforementioned courses are offered in the area of engineering, sciences & architecture.  

As per the official notification, the registration link for JEE Advanced counselling and seat allotment will be accessible from the second week of June 2019. Candidates who secured the passing marks are eligible to appear for the counselling process. You will have to enter your JEE Main roll number and password for registering yourself. When you come to the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2019 process then you have to go through many steps such as registration, choice filling, mock allotment, reporting to institute and more.

JEE Advanced Counselling 2019 Procedure:

Step 1: Registration and Documents Upload

  • At the very first step, candidates need to register themselves for JEE Advanced counselling 2019. It will be managed by JoSAA.
  • Thereafter, login to your account by using your login credentials such as JEE Main 2019 roll number and JEE Advanced 2019 password.  
  • Later on, enter your registration details like gender, state code of eligibility, nationality, etc. and submit button.

Step 2: Online Choice Filling and Locking

  • After successful registration, log in to your account and here, you will have to select colleges and courses as per your preference from the available list.
  • After that, aspirants have to lock their choices after the choice filling process. If they do not lock their selections then the last saved choices will be locked automatically.

Step 3: Seat Allocation

  • The sanctioned officials will schedule a mock allotment to know the choices of the candidates as per their current probable choices.
  • The JEE Advanced Seat Allocation process will be done on the basis of merit, preferred choices, category and availability of seats.
  • There will be seven round for the seat allocation by the authorities.

Step 4: Reporting for JEE Advanced 2019 Seat Allotment

  • After completing the aforementioned steps, the candidate can reach their respective universities with the required documents.
  • While you are going to visit the allotted college then you should carry the below documents along with your security deposit receipt, allocation form.
  • At the time of document verification and reporting, candidates have to pay the registration fees which is mentioned below.

Required Documents at the time document verification process:

At the time of reporting to the allotted college, candidates have to produce two photocopies of each of the documents list provided below-  

  • Provisional seat allotment letter
  • 12th class performance check
  • Seat acceptance fee payment proof
  • Undertaking by the candidate
  • A valid photo ID card (issued by govt. agency/last attended school/ XII class admit card)
  • JEE Advanced 2019 admit card
  • Date of birth proof (10th class mark sheet)
  • 12th class or equivalent mark sheet
  • Medical certificate
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • Registration-cum-locked choices for seat allotment
  • Two coloured passport size photographs (same as uploaded in the registration form)
  • OCI certificate/PIO card (if applicable), Passport of the candidate and their parents (for foreign nationals).
