Those candidates who appeared in JEE Advanced Exam will be able to apply for the counseling and seat allotment process of JEE Advanced 2025. It will start in the second week of Sep 2025. JEE Advanced Exam 2025 counseling and seat allotment will be held by JoSAA as a centralized counseling process. The JEE Advanced Exam counseling process starts in the month of June 2025. The exact date of counseling will be announced on the official website of JEE advanced after which candidates can start their admission procedure. All the qualifying applicants will be allotted seats in their respective courses and university through JEE Advanced 2025 counseling. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2025 is conducted at the National Level by the National Testing Agency [NTA]. This exam is held in the month of June 2025 through the online mode only. In the year 2025, JEE Advanced exam was successfully conducted on 27th May 2025 in two shifts. After qualifying for the JEE Advanced 2025, candidates will be eligible to get admission into bachelor’s, Integrated master’s & dual degree courses in all the IITs. The aforementioned courses are offered in the area of engineering, sciences & architecture.
As per the official notification, the registration link for JEE Advanced counseling and seat allotment will be accessible from the second week of June 2025. Candidates who will secure passing marks are eligible to appear for the counseling process. You will have to enter your JEE Main roll number and password for registering yourself. When you will go for the counseling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2025 process then you have to go through many steps such as registration, choice filling, mock allotment, reporting to the institute, and more.

At the very first step, candidates need to register themselves for JEE Advanced counseling 2025. It will be managed by JoSAA.
Thereafter, log in to your account by using your login credentials such as JEE Advanced 2025 roll number and JEE Advanced 2025 password.
Later on, enter your registration details like gender, state code of eligibility, nationality, etc., and submit button.
After successful registration, log in to your account and here, you will have to select colleges and courses as per your preference from the available list.
After that, aspirants have to lock their choices after the choice filling process. If they do not lock their selections then the last saved choices will be locked automatically.
The sanctioned officials will schedule a mock allotment to know the choices of the candidates as per their current probable choices.
The JEE Advanced Seat Allocation process will be done on the basis of merit, preferred choices, category, and availability of seats.
There will be seven rounds for the seat allocation by the authorities.
After completing the aforementioned steps, the candidate can reach their respective universities with the required documents.
While you are going to visit the allotted college then you should carry the below documents along with your security deposit receipt, allocation form.
At the time of document verification and reporting, candidates have to pay the registration fees which are mentioned below.
