JEE Advanced Counselling 2022

JEE Advanced Counselling and Seat Allotment 2022:

Those candidates who appeared in JEE Advanced Exam will be able to apply for the counseling and seat allotment process of JEE Advanced 2022. It will start in the second week of Sep 2022. JEE Advanced Exam 2022 counseling and seat allotment will be held by JoSAA as a centralized counseling process. Below we have mentioned the list of the documents which will be required during the verification process.

Documents required for Verification (Original and Attested Photocopies)

  • JEE Advanced Exam 2022 Seat Allotment Letter

  • JEE Advanced Exam 2022 Admit card

  • JEE Advanced Exam 2022 Application Form

  • Duly filled Medical Examination Report

  • Proof of Date of Birth: Class X/HSC/Birth Certificate/Any other certificate as proof of date of birth

  • Class XII/SSC/Equivalent exam Mark sheet and Certificate of passing

  • Category Certificate (OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PWD/DS) issued by the competent authority

  • For foreign citizens: Attested photocopy of the page in the passport containing the name, photo, and nationality

JEE Advanced Counselling Process 2022:

The JEE Advanced Exam counseling process starts in the month of June 2022. The exact date of counseling will be announced on the official website of JEE advanced after which candidates can start their admission procedure. All the qualifying applicants will be allotted seats in their respective courses and university through JEE Advanced 2022 counseling. JEE Advanced Counselling and Seat Allotment Process:

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2022 is conducted at the National Level by the National Testing Agency [NTA]. This exam is held in the month of June 2022 through the online mode only. In the year 2022, JEE Advanced exam was successfully conducted on 27th May 2022 in two shifts. After qualifying for the JEE Advanced 2022, candidates will be eligible to get admission into bachelor’s, Integrated master’s & dual degree courses in all the IITs. The aforementioned courses are offered in the area of engineering, sciences & architecture. 

As per the official notification, the registration link for JEE Advanced counseling and seat allotment will be accessible from the second week of June 2022. Candidates who will secure passing marks are eligible to appear for the counseling process. You will have to enter your JEE Main roll number and password for registering yourself. When you will go for the counseling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2022 process then you have to go through many steps such as registration, choice filling, mock allotment, reporting to the institute, and more.

JEE Advanced Counselling 2022 Procedure:

Step 1: Registration and Documents Upload
  • At the very first step, candidates need to register themselves for JEE Advanced counseling 2022. It will be managed by JoSAA.

  • Thereafter, log in to your account by using your login credentials such as JEE Advanced 2022 roll number and JEE Advanced 2022 password. 

  • Later on, enter your registration details like gender, state code of eligibility, nationality, etc., and submit button.

Step 2: Online Choice Filling and Locking:
  • After successful registration, log in to your account and here, you will have to select colleges and courses as per your preference from the available list.

  • After that, aspirants have to lock their choices after the choice filling process. If they do not lock their selections then the last saved choices will be locked automatically.

Step 3: Seat Allocation
  • The sanctioned officials will schedule a mock allotment to know the choices of the candidates as per their current probable choices.

  • The JEE Advanced Seat Allocation process will be done on the basis of merit, preferred choices, category, and availability of seats.

  • There will be seven rounds for the seat allocation by the authorities.

Step 4: Reporting for JEE Advanced 2022 Seat Allotment
  • After completing the aforementioned steps, the candidate can reach their respective universities with the required documents.

  • While you are going to visit the allotted college then you should carry the below documents along with your security deposit receipt, allocation form.

  • At the time of document verification and reporting, candidates have to pay the registration fees which are mentioned below.

Required Documents at the Time Document Verification Process:

At the time of reporting to the allotted college, candidates have to produce two photocopies of each of the documents list provided below- 

  • Provisional seat allotment letter

  • 12th class performance check

  • Seat acceptance fee payment proof

  • Undertaking by the candidate

  • A valid photo ID card (issued by govt. agency/last attended school/ XII class admit card)

  • JEE Advanced 2022 admit card

  • Date of birth proof (10th class mark sheet)

  • 12th class or equivalent mark sheet

  • Medical certificate

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

  • Registration-cum-locked choices for seat allotment

  • Two colored passport size photographs (same as uploaded in the registration form)

  • OCI certificate/PIO card (if applicable), Passport of the candidate and their parents (for foreign nationals).
