Delhi University Registration Form: The Delhi University Registration Form 2025, as mentioned before, is released in the month of April on the official website of the university. The candidates who wish to get admission in any of the courses offered by the university must appear for the Delhi University Exam. They are required to first sign up for the registration form, gain admit cards, and then, and only then can they appear for the examination. DU charges a DUET registration fee for candidates who wish to register themselves and appear for the exam.

Steps to Fill the Delhi University Registration Form 2025:

The Delhi University Application Form 2025 is available online on the official website of the university for any candidate who desires to gain admission in any of the courses offered. The steps below guide the candidates on how to fill the Delhi University Registration Form properly.

Visit the official website of the university.
Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab.
Create a User ID or User account first.
Click ‘Yes’ for confirming your completion of class 12th.

Enter the Details Asked Such as:

Full Name of the Candidate.
Year of the Candidate’s Class XII Passing (As per mark sheet)
Candidate’s CBSE Exam Roll Number
Candidate’s CBSE Class XII School Code.
Candidate’s E-Mail ID
Candidate’s Mobile Number
Captcha Verification
Password (Minimum 6-7 characters in length)

Candidates must click ‘Submit’ and verify their accounts.
They must log in using the User ID and Password provided by the university site on the mobile number or Email ID provided of the candidate.
Read carefully through the ‘Important Instructions’ page.
Click on the checkbox at the end. Once done, the Delhi University Application Form will open in front of the screen

Once these details are filled in, the candidate must cross-check them and double-check for errors and spelling mistakes. Once satisfied they must head over to the next page of the DU Exam Application Form 2025 by clicking ‘Submit’.

The candidates who are currently awaiting their class XII Board Exam result must choose the option of ‘Awaited’ from the drop-down menu. However, candidates whose result is already declared, must choose the ‘Declared’ option from the drop-down menu and then proceed to fill in the exact marks and the percentage they got in their qualifying examinations.

Once the academic details have been filled and verified, the candidate must double-check for errors or spelling mistakes before clicking the ‘Submit’ button. Once the candidates click submit, a preview of the DU Exam Application Form will be generated and after verifying all the details and cross-checking for errors, the candidate is advised to click the ‘Next’ section.

Delhi University Course Selection: (Merit-Based)

This section of the registration form includes the list of all the courses and colleges of Delhi University. This is for students who wish to gain a merit-based admission, such that they have secured the necessary marks in order to gain admission in the course of their choice solely on a merit basis or DU Cut off. They must select the boxes for the course or courses they wish to apply for. Keep in mind that the candidates can easily apply for one or more courses at the same time.

Dekhi University Course Selection: (Entrance Based)

This section is for the candidates who wish to gain admission through the entrance test mode. For those candidates, they can select ‘none’ or an ‘n’ number of courses to apply for. However, before selecting any course, the candidate needs to ensure beforehand that they fulfill the eligibility criteria of the course despite attempting admission through the entrance exam mode. There is a separate entrance exam fee for each course he or she chooses to appear for the entrance exam.

Delhi University Sports Quota Admissions:

This page is for candidates who wish to apply or gain admission in any course offered by the DU through the sports quota. They need to pay an extra of Rs. 100/- in the registration fee since they are applying under the sports quota. Apart from that, they need to fill in certain details such as the name of the game or sport that they play, the highest award or recognition they have achieved in the said game, level of competition, etc.

It is extremely important for candidates to upload their certificates and other supporting documents (the maximum number of documents to be uploaded is three) as per the guidelines prescribed by the university. Once all the details are filled in, supporting documents are uploaded, candidates must double-check for details and spelling errors in their registration form. Once they are satisfied, they must click on the ‘Submit button. Once they click on it, they can go on to enter details of another game or sport by clicking on the ‘Add Another Game/Sport’ button or they can further proceed by clicking on the ‘Next button.

Delhi University ECA Quota Admissions:

This page is also similar to the sports page and the candidates who wish to gain admission to Delhi University in any one of the courses offered through the Extra Curriculum Activities Quota must fill this page. It contains various categories and subcategories asking for details on the type and nature of the extracurricular activity the candidate participated in.

They can choose up to three activities and it is absolutely compulsory for them to upload at least anyone certification or supporting documents. Also, there is an additional fee of Rs. 100/- that the candidates applying for admission through ECA need to pay at the time of paying the registration fee.

Once the candidate has filled in all the required details, they can proceed to the next section of the DU Exam Application Form 2025 by clicking ‘Submit’.

Once the candidate has clicked on ‘Next’ a new page of the Delhi University Registration form will appear.
Candidates need to upload their documents in the prescribed size. Some of the documents they need to upload are as follows:

Identity Proof
Academic Class X mark sheet
Supporting documents (if applicable)
Caste certificate (If applicable) among others.

The candidates must keep in mind that they will not be able to complete their registration form or pay the registration fee unless they upload the required documents in the sizes prescribed. The documents that the candidates will upload will also need to be brought for verification once their admissions have been finalized or once they visit the college for admission. In case of any false or tampered document, the candidate must realize that his or her registration form will be deleted and their admission canceled.
Once the candidate has uploaded the documents and double-checked all the details, he or she can click on the ‘Next’ tab.
One of the last stages of the DU Exam Application Form includes the preview of the entire registration form, that is, this is the last time a candidate can make changes in his or her information. Once submitted, there will be no chance of fixing errors, and hence it is advised that the candidates check and double-check the information provided on the registration form before they click ‘Submit’.
A new window will pop up taking the candidate to the payment gateway where he or she needs to pay the registration form fee. The fee can only be paid online through any of the following ways including Debit Card/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, etc.
Once the successful payment of the registration fee has been declared, the registration form of the candidate will be accepted by the university, which is his or her Delhi University Application Form 2025 and the process will be completed.
