Central Teachers Eligibility Test Application Form

This is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) (CBSE) twice a year for shortlisting candidates for an appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII. There are two test papers of CTET in the Exam, that is, Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates who plan to teach classes I-V need to give Paper-I and candidates who plan to teach classes VI-VII need to take Paper-II.

CTET Exam Application Form 2025

Certificate of CTET is the minimum eligibility to get a job in teaching. Once the candidate gets the certificate, he or she may apply for the vacancies of teachers, released by different schools. Such as KVS, NVS Army Teacher, ERDO, etc. Although, achieving CTET Certificate 2025 is not an easy task. To fetch the minimum passing marks or cut-off to avail of the Certificate. (Candidates must meet the initial criteria). 

CTET Form 2025: Candidates who wish to pursue teaching jobs can fill the CTET Application Form before the last day ends. The candidates who are eligible for the exam can submit CTET 2025 online application form at the official website of the CBSE. The CBSE will publish notification in advance informing examination schedule including registration dates.  Aspirants are requested to first check the eligibility criteria and if they follow the criteria prescribed by the authority they can fill theCTET Registration Form.

CTET Application Form 2025: Candidates need to provide their personal credentials, educational qualification, address for correspondence including email ID and mobile number, etc. in the online CTET Application Form. They also have to upload scanned images of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format and specifications. After the form is filled completely, the candidate needs to fill the application fee in order to complete the registration process. The aspirants must then take the printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

CTET Registration Form 2025:

CBSE has finally released the CTET Online Application for the Exam of March 2025. All aspiring candidates should apply online for CTET Exam 2025 only via the CTET website. CTET Application form 2025 has started from 05 March 2025. The last date for applying online for CTET 2025 is 28 March 2025. All aspirants who wish to appear for the exam need to apply online for CTET 2025 by clicking on the link.

The official notification for the CTET Registration form 2025 released on Feb 2025. The CTET shall apply to the schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, and many schools under the Administrative Control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Delhi NCT. 

  • CTET may apply to the private schools that are unaided, which may exercise the option of considering.
  • Those schools owned and managed by the State Govt. and local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Govt. However, a State Govt. may also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET
  • According, CBSE Affiliation Bye-Law 53, prescribing the minimum qualifications for teachers to teach many subjects in Classes I to VIII in the schools affiliated to CBSE stands amended to that extent and it shall be mandatory that the teachers appointed 06th March 2013 to teach the classes I to VIII in the schools affiliated to the CBSE shall qualify:
  • Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE on behalf of Central Govt. or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the appropriate State Government according to the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for this purpose

Apply CTET Application Form 2025:

CTET Registration form 2025 for December 2025 session will be available on the official website from March 05 to April 18, 2025. To register for CTET 2025, candidates have to perform the process in 4 major steps: 

  • Filling Online Application Form
  • Uploading Images
  • Fee Payment
  • Downloading Confirmation Page

Note: All the candidates are supposed to check CTET Application Form 2025 Eligibility before filling the CTET Online application form.

  • Payment of INR 750 to be made for one paper and INR 1200 for both papers has to be made by general and OBC category candidates
  • Fees should be paid by debit/credit card or through E-Challan submitted to any Syndicate of Canara Bank
  • CTET 2025 will be conducted in two formats of papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Check CTET Exam Pattern
  • Applicants should choose three CTET Exam Centers according to their preference

Steps to Apply: 

Step 1: You have to click on the above-mentioned link to get redirected to the official website of CBSE for filling out the CTET Application Form 2025. 

Step 2: Fill in all the details, required: Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth in capital letters.

Step 3: Now, you have to choose the Examination Centre and the medium of exams for CTET 2025 in which you want to attempt the paper (English and Hindi)

Step 4: Now, Enter your Aadhar Card number, choose your gender, category and finally you may select the status of Employment and the status of Qualifying Examinations.

Step 5: A candidate has to fill in your Educational Details: the most recent qualification you hold, your percentage, etc.

Step 6: After the previous step, you are required to provide your residential address, phone number, and email ID.

Step 7: Upload your photo and sign it. Both the images must be in the format of jpg, png, or jpeg. format and must have a background that is white.

Step 8: You will be directed to the page of payment. The payment can be made for CTET 2025 Exam through Credit Card/Debit Card/E-Challan.

Step 9: You have to click on the SUBMIT button. Your CTET Application Form will be successfully submitted.

CTET Registration Form 2025:

To all those who can Apply for CTET Registration Form 2025?

All the candidates applying for the examinations may be required to check CTET Eligibility before applying. Candidates who secure more than 60% in CTET Application Form 2025 for any of the papers shall receive a CTET eligibility certificate.

  • All the candidates belong to the reserved categories will be provided with a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks in the Academic Eligibility of CTET
  • The minimum age to appear for CTET 2025 is 18 years
  • Detailed eligibility criteria for the Primary stage and Elementary stage are different
They are as follows:

(Paper I: Primary Teachers) 
  • Candidates must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% marks
  • He/she must have passed or must be appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Applicants should be passed senior secondary with at least 45% marks.
  • He/she must have passed or appeared in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
  • Aspirants must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% marks.
  • They also pass or appear in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (It's a must)
  • Graduation Degree in the relevant discipline must be acquired
  • A certificate of at least two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name is known)
(Paper II: Elementary Teacher)
  • A degree of Graduation in the relevant discipline should be obtained
  • Also, candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
  • A degree of bachelor along with at least 50% marks must be acquired
  • Aspirants must have completed one year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
  • Graduation degree along with at least 45% marks must be done in a discipline relevant to it
  • Aspirants must also complete a year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • Candidates must pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
  • Candidates must have either passed or should be appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
  • All the candidates must have passed senior secondary accompanying at least 50% marks
  • Along with it, they must have passed or should be appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
  • Aspirants must have done graduation with at least 50% marks should be able to fill CTET Application Form 2025.
  • Also, they should have passed or maybe appearing in 1-year B.Ed
CTET Exam Date 2025:

CTET Notification has been officially released on August 16. An information brochure that is detailed for the exam will be released on August 19, 2025.

  • Application form of CTET: CTET registration 2025 is scheduled to commence on August 19. Candidates may fill the application form on the official website of the examination.
  • CTET Exam Date 2025: CTET going to be held on December 8, 2025. 
CTET Registration Fee 2025:

All the candidates can apply for CTET Application Fee 2025 for Exam by logging in to the official website of CTET. Once you get the notification for the same which has been released. A candidate belonging to either General or OBC category has to pay Rs. 700/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 1200/- (if applying for both the papers). The same amount is reduced to Rs. 350/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 600/- (in case you are applying for both the papers) for the candidates who belong to the SC/ST category.

CTET Exam Pattern 2025:

CTET Exam shall be conducted in two modes:

  • Paper I 
  • Paper-II

Paper I is conducted for the candidates, aspire to become a teacher for Class I to V, and Paper II is conducted for the candidates who aspire to become teachers for Class VI to VIII. Candidates also have the option to apply for the CTET Exam Pattern both Paper I and Paper-II. Questions asked in both Paper I and Paper II should be objective, Multiple Choice Questions. Paper is bilingual, which is in both English and Hindi. A candidate is required to score a minimum of 60% to qualify CTET 2020 Examination. One thing to note is the score of CTET is valid for 7 years after the result has been declared for the same by CBSE.

The language selected in CTET Exam:

The language I: will focus on the aptitude related to the medium of instructions. The candidate is required to select anyone from a given language.

Language II: Will focus on the elements of language, communication, and comprehensive abilities. A candidate is required to select anyone from a given language Also, Language I should be different from Language II.

Step 2: Upload Documents:

On entering all the details correctly in the application form, aspirants need to upload scanned copies of their passport-sized photograph and signature with their CTET 2020 application form in the prescribed format and as per the specifications. Step 3: Pay CTET Application Fee:

After, successful uploading of the required credentials, candidates are required to pay a required amount of application fee to complete the application process. Aspirants can pay the CTET application fee by means of eChallan in Syndicate Bank/HDFC Bank or even by means of credit card/debit card. Candidates should know that the application fee will not be refunded in any case.

Step 4: Submit & Print Application Form for CTET Exam:

After verifying all the information provided in the registration form candidates need to click on the ‘Submit button. As soon as the application form is submitted with the correct details, a confirmation page will be generated.  Further, Candidates are advised to take a printout of the same and keep it safe for further admission procedure.
