- Each question carries a +1 mark.
- There is no negative marking scheme.
- The Mathematics section has the maximum weightage which is 80 marks.
- The minimum qualifying percentage for the AP EAMCET exams is 25%.
- Candidates who get the minimum qualifying marks for the exam will be considered eligible for ranking.

Instructions for candidates for the Computer-based AP EAMCET Exam:
You have to arrive at the exam center with the Admit Card and ID proof.
- You can sit at your respective computers after the biometric fingerprint analysis.
- You have to log in 10 minutes before the exam by entering your Admit Card number.
- The medium of instruction will be English or Telugu.
- There are 2 sections for the exam- Engineering and Agriculture.
- The AP EAMCET exam pattern for the Engineering section will consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths while the Agriculture section will consist of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology( Zoology and Botany).
