UP LT Grade Teacher Exam Pattern 2024:

The UP LT Grade Teacher exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. This exam is held for the selection of the candidates for filling up the Assistant Teacher positions in the Government schools of Uttar Pradesh. The UP LT Grade Exam Pattern is available on the official website of the UPPSC.

The Application form for the examination is available on the official website and the candidates can fill in and submit the UP LT Grade Application Form online.

The candidates who will appear for the exams need to know the syllabus and exam pattern in detail. UP LT Grade Teacher Exam Pattern 2024:

The exam pattern is given below and the candidates after studying the exam pattern can prepare for the examination with full focus.

  • The question paper for the UP LT Grade Teacher Exam is divided into 2 parts.
  • The 1st part consists of General studies and the 2nd part consists of the main subject paper.
  • General studies consist of 30 questions and the main subject paper consists of 120 questions.
  • The total marks for the UP LT Grade teacher exam are 150.
  • The total duration of the exam is 2 hours.
  • There is a negative marking scheme for the UP LT Grade Teacher Exam.
  • For every wrong answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted from the candidate’s overall score.
  • The total qualifying marks for the candidates as mentioned in the UP LT Grade Teacher Exam Pattern is as follows:

       General candidates- 40%

        SC/ST-  30%

  • The LT Grade Social Science Paper consists of 4 sections which are- Geography, History, Civics, and Economics. The candidate has to attempt 2 sections from the Question paper and there are 60 questions from each section.
