SSC CHSL Syllabus 2024:

SSC CHSL Exam Syllabus 2024: Every year SSC organizes the SSC CHSL Examination in order to fill various departmental posts and the competition is becoming very high, as it is a dream of many students to get a government job. Candidates need to prepare according to the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2024 to score well in the examination.

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2024 - Tier I

Section A: General Intelligence

Topic	Sub-Topic
Analogy	Questions on Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Trends, and Figural Analogy
Numerical Series	Questions on Semantic Series, Number Series, and Figural Series
Syllogism	A syllogism is a form of reasoning in which a conclusion is drawn from two or three given statements. You can use a Venn diagram for these questions
Direction/Ranking	Questions based on direction sense
Non-Verbal Reasoning	Questions based on Paper Cutting, Cubes and Dice, Grouping of Images, and Figure Matrix
Miscellaneous	Odd One Out, Coding and decoding, Embedded figures, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Building, etc.

Culture
Indian History
Geography
Environment
Economy
Political science
Biology
Chemistry
Physics, Space Science
Computer, Mobile, and Technology

Section C: Quantitative Aptitude

Arithmetic	Questions from - Number Systems, Averages, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Mixture and Allegation, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business
Algebra	Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds and Graphs of Linear Equations
Geometry	Familiarity with elementary geometric facts and figures: Circle, and its chords, Triangle and its various kinds of centers, common tangents to two or more circles, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle
Mensuration	Questions based on any of Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Hemispheres, Right Prism, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Triangle, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base, Sphere
Trigonometry	Trigonometric ratios, Complementary angles, Height and distances, and Standard Identities like sin2 + Cos2 =1

Section D: General English

Topic	Sub-Topic
English Language	Questions will be related to the English Language. Topics like Spot the Error, fill in the Blanks, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage will be asked
Vocabulary	Questions will be from topics like Synonyms/ Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting misspelled words, Idioms & Phrases, and One-word substitution
Grammar	Questions will be on Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/ Indirect narration
Reading Comprehension	There will be a Comprehension Passage based on which 3 to 5 questions will be asked. Recruitment is a very simple and scoring section

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2024 - Tier III

Tier III of SSC CHSL 2024 would be the skill/ typing test which would be of qualifying nature.
Skill Test/Typing Test would be in accordance with the job profile.
Data Entry Speed must be 8,000 Key Depressions per hour on Computer.
For the post of Data Entry Operator in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) a speed Test of a minimum of 15000 keys depressions per hour for data entry work.
