SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2023

SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2023 is published on the official website of SRM University. SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2023 will help the students to understand the concept of the SRMJEEE Exam in the smoothest way. Students can download the exam pattern by performing some simple steps that make them easier to get the exam pattern.

SRM University has revised its exam pattern from the current year. Earlier, the SRMJEEE exam had three sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology and from the current year, two new sections have been added in the Question Paper, i.e., English and Aptitude.

The student who wants to take admission in the B.Tech course will have to attempt subjects of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English, and Aptitude section while the students appearing for the Biomedical Engineering have to attempt Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Aptitude questions.

Also, the University has increased the total number of questions. Before the exam had 125 questions and now it has increased to 125 questions.

In addition to this, SRM University has increased the number of SRMJEEE exam centers from the current year from 123 to 132.

SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2023:

  • Mode of Examination: The examination will be conducted through the online mode (CBT).
  • Duration of Examination: The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Types of Questions: The questions will be asked in the Multiple Choice Question format.
  • Language of Examination: The question paper will be in the English language only.
  • Total Marks: The total marks will be 315 Marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct response, students will get +3 Marks.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the SRMJEEE entrance test.

Exam Day Instructions:

  • Candidates will have to sit on the seat that will be given to them.
  • Candidates have to write their name and roll number at the top of the paper and return that paper to the Invigilator before leaving the examination hall.
  • Aspirants are allowed to appear at the allotted venue of the exam only.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry a pen/pencil in the exam hall.
  • Pen/ Pencil and blank paper sheets for rough work will be given to the candidates in the examination hall.
  • Leaving the examination hall before the end time of the exam is not allowed.
  • Wearing a watch on the day of examination inside the examination hall is not allowed.
  • No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination center once the examination starts.
  • Diabetic candidates are allowed to carry eatables stuff like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles to the examination hall/room. However, such candidates are not allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwiches, etc.
  • Candidates without their SRMJEEE Exam Admit Card will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
  • Request for change in the SRMJEEE exam centers will not be entertained.
