Sarkari Exam 2020

What is a Sarkari Exam:

Sarkari exams or government exams are conducted by government bodies. They conduct these exams for admission into a government college or for entry into a job in the government sector. Some exams are held yearly while some exams have different frequencies. These exams check the basic knowledge of a student. Whether he is able to tackle questions from some simple subjects or not. Generally, English, mathematics, reasoning, and general knowledge are common subjects.

Government colleges also conduct exams for admission into different courses. Students who want to take admission into these colleges can apply for these exams. They have to fill the Sarkari Exam application form and give the exam. Candidates who are able to crack the exam will get admission.

Different regulating authorities conduct these exams. The most common is the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). These bodies conduct national level exams. While there are also some state-level bodies that regulate the state exams. And also, the PSUs conduct their own Sarkari Exam for various roles.

Why Should you give a Sarkari Exam?

Everyone has their own reason to give the Sarkari Exam. However, after you clear the exam, the job you get will provide you several benefits.

  • Good Salary: A government employee gets a good salary and a regular increment on the salary. The competition for the Sarkari exam is high because the salary of a minor government employee is very high.
  • Retirement Planning: Not only during your working period, but government jobs will also provide you a pension after your retirement. So, you don’t need to worry about your post-retirement planning. This is another major advantage of the government job
  • Fixed Working hours: In a private job, you may be asked for overtime. But in a government job the working hour is fixed. You don’t need to work more than your shift. However, in critical situations, you may have to do extra work. But this is temporary.
  • Medical facility: The government provides medical facilities to its employees. The medical expenses are very costly. The cost of medicines and treatments is becoming expensive day by day. So, it is very difficult to get the required treatment. Hence, the government pays the medical bills of a government employee.

Who can apply for the Sarkari Exams?

There are some set of rules and regulations for each exam. These rules and regulations are prepared by the government in the case of the Sarkari exam. Anyone who wants to give the exam must have to fulfill these requirements. The eligibility criteria are different for different exams. It depends upon the job roles for which the exam is organized.
