It's important for the candidates to update their profile by filling out the online application form. This is only a single-time process that every candidate must do. Also, keep handy these important things.
A valid registration number (Make sure that name and DOB should be exactly mentioned that are in the Registration Allocation cum Identity Card issued by NIELIT).
The candidate’s personal email ID, not the institute-registered one, works for the validation of future correspondence.
Candidate’s personal mobile number.
Well-scanned latest passport-size photograph including signature and LTI (Left Thumb Impression); these all should be in jpeg format, size limited to 50 KB each.

Here is the long procedure for filling out the application form. But first, they need to visit this site: https://student.neilit.in/Index.aspx. Then, follow the rest of the instructions.
1. Create an account
To create a new account, candidates are required to click on the new user button, which is provided at the top corner on the right side of the screen. Then, these steps need to be followed.
Step 1: Details required for the verification of candidates:
After all that, you need to click on the next button. After the data verification, candidates need to move on to the next step.
Step 2: Email ID & Mobile Number Verification
Fill out this information and then press the next button. Afterwards, you will be required to enter your user ID along with the password. Candidates also need to attend a security question in which a security answer needs to be entered. This can be used to recover the password in the future.
Step 3: User Creation
A window will appear in which you must fill in some of the basic information mentioned.
After that, students will get their ID and password sent to their registered mail address. Students must keep in mind that logging in to their account is necessary for online student information and the Enrolment System of NIELIT. After account activation, candidates need to click on the login page link.
2. Update Profile
After launching on the dashboard, the candidate may receive some of the following notifications, depending on the available records.

Step 1: Upload Photograph, Signature & LTI
After submitting all of it, use the preview button and ensure that all the details you have mentioned are viewing properly.
Step 2: Update Your Mobile Number
Now you need to click on the verify your mobile number link, and then an OTP will be sent to your mobile number, which you need to enter in the given column. Now, you need to click on the validate OTP after entering the number.
Step 3: Update Correspondence Address Details
Complete this and then go to the dashboard.
Step 4: Update Personal Details
Again, complete all of it and reach out to the dashboard.
Step 5: Lock Profile
After completing all the profile formalities, it's time for candidates to lock their profiles. Keep in mind that they should lock only when the information you mentioned is current and correct. After locking the profile, you will not be able to make any changes.
After the locking process on your screen, all of your information will be visible so you can check it. On your screen’s right side, there will be a "Lock Profile," which you need to click.
Step 6: Send Updated Profile Sheet
After locking up your profile, you need to save a copy of it for future usage. Take out the printout.
3. Fill the OEAF
Reach out to the course tab where you need to click on apply, which is available on the right-hand side border. You will see the Online Examination Application Form (OEAF) available. Keep in mind that a field mark is necessary. It consists of five major points, including exam centre details, fee details, exam details, modules appearing and declaration.
You will receive an e-mail and SMS that confirms that the application number can be used in the future. Candidates will also get a demand note number along with the fees that need to be paid.

Rupees 500 needs to be paid for each module/paper at the O/A/B/C level. Along with that, candidates are required to pay a processing fee of 100 rupees. Always remember that once you pay the fees, they will not be refunded to you. The examination forms can also be rejected if the fee does not cover the selected module.
