NEET PG Exam Result 2020: NBE declared the result for the NEET PG exam 2020 on the 31st of January, 2020 for the medical graduates. Candidates can check their results of the NEET PG online by the following steps. After the result declaration, NEB releases the scorecard to every passed candidate who will be going to appear in the NEET PG examination. On the basis of the scorecard, Candidates are liable to take admission in the course of MS/ MD in the various Government medical colleges and private medical colleges.

NEET PG Result 2020 released by the conducting authority on the 31st of January. NBE (National Board of Examination) is the conducting body that is responsible for the announcement of the NEET PG result 2020 and provides a rank to each applicant to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) and also to the state government. Candidates who have appeared in the NEET PG 2020 exam can check their NEET PG result 2020 by visiting the official website of the NBA.

After the declaration of the NEET PG result 2020, the qualified applicants can go for the further process of counselling and admission process. The eligibility criteria for NEET PG admission is that every applicant must obtain minimum marks corresponding to the cut off percentile. Marks will be obtained from 1200. In 2019, the number of competitors was 15% more than in 2020 signifying a trend that the exam is getting more competitive each year.




How to check NEET PG Result 2020?
  • Candidates are required to visit NBE official website to check their result, where they are required to find out the result link which is provided above the download result
  • Click on the result link and  NEET PG result 2020 will appear in front of you
  • Now you are required to enter your testing ID  and date of birth
  • Click on the submit button to generate your neet pg result
  • A pdf file will be generated on your computer screen
  • Now you need to open that PDF file if it has not opened automatically. This PDF file contains the result status with the obtained marks
  • Keep the extra printout of it for further procedures.

NEET PG Result/Scorecard:

In the NEET PG scorecard, the candidate’s all India rank is printed along with other details. The candidate would able to download their result cum scorecard from the official website. To download the NEET PG scorecard, the candidate would have to use their testing ID and date of birth to download their scorecard.

The result can be seen as an offline mode of the notice board at Ansari Nagar Office of NBE. No scorecard will be sent out to the candidates individually.

NEET PG Result Date:

NEET PG Result for the session 2020 will be declared in the online mode. The results will likely to be declared by 31st January 2020. Candidate can download their result on visiting the NEB official website and the counseling will be started after the declaration of the result. Counseling will be conducted through online mode. 

Important points related to NEET PG result:

  • Candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states are eligible to 50% AQI quota for the various courses like MDS.
  • Candidates, who have passed BDS from the state of J&K States, are not eligible for All India 50% quota seats. However, candidates who are nominated by the Government of India under central pool sear to do the BDS from the Dental colleges in Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to take admission to All India 50% quota post-graduate for the MDS course. 
  • Copy of scorecard will not be sent individually.

NEET PG Result Qualifying Percentile:

The qualifying percentile of NEET PG result is the percentile on which candidates are given rank in the merit list. NBE will be releasing the qualifying percentile on the category basis for the result of NEET. Candidates will have to secure the minimum qualifying percentile and corresponding marks to the percentile will be considered for admission in the desired courses. NBE  will disclose the qualifying marks with the declaration of the results and this result and qualifying marks category will be different for each category. NEET PG 2020 Counselling:

NEET PG 2020 Counselling is expected to be conducted by NBE for the given quotas. All the information regarding NEET PG 2020 counselling is mentioned below. However, the information is tentative and subject to change:

  • All India 50% Quota Seats: Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India conducts the counselling for All India Quota 50% referring to the student’s result in NEET PG 2020.
  • State Quota Seats: The concerned States / designated authority / University conducts the counselling for state quota seats as per their score in the examination.
  • Admission In Private Medical Colleges, Institutes, Universities, Deemed Universities: The counselling for candidates to get admission in private medical colleges, institutes, universities and deemed universities are conducted by designated counselling authority of these Individual Institutes/ Colleges/ Universities/ Deemed Universities.
  • Admission In Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions: The counselling to get admission in armed forces medical service institutions is conducted by the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defense, Government of India based on the rank and marks scored by the student.
  • Admission In DNB Broad Specialty Courses: NBE (National Board of Examination) conducts the centralized merit-based counselling based on the rank of the student in NEET PG 2019.
