NEET PG Exam 2019 - NEET-PG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is an entrance based examination test, held all over India, for the students who wish to have a brilliant future at postgraduate level into MD/MS and PG diploma courses. The exam is supervised by the National Board of Examination (NBE) every year.

The dates for NEET PG 2019 have been revealed. The exam will be scheduled for January 6, 2019. The Application process for the examination began in the 4th week of October till the last week of November 2018. Every year the mode of examination is online.

The Exam is held once in a year in the month of January and is a computer-based test. Students qualifying the entrance exam will be eligible for further counselling processes. NEET has substituted the AIPGMEE (All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination) and DNB CET,  in the opinion of the Supreme Court Directive.

  • National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, Bengaluru
  • The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh
  • The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry
  • Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow
  • Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum.
Updated Features in NEET 2019-
  • The question paper will be divided into 3 sections - Section A, Section B and Section C covering of 50, 100 and 150 questions, sequentially.
  • Last year, the exam was held in 129 cities but this year NBE (National Board of Examination) has added 19 news NEET PG exam cities, which makes a total of 148 trial cities.
  • There has been a substitution in the NEET PG exam this year with new timings scheduled from 03:30 PM to 07:00 PM.
  • A change has been done in the tie-making method to determine NEET PG merit list 2019.
Eligibility criteria for NEET PG  2019-
  • Applicants need to assure that they meet the NEET PG 2019 eligibility criteria before they fill the application form for the exam.
  • Applicants are required to hold a recognized Masters degree (MBBS).
  • According to the eligibility norms of NEET PG 2019, one-year internship by March 31, 2019, is required.
  • According to NEET PG 2019 eligibility criteria, applicants are required to carry their Aadhar card.
  • Applicants must possess a provisional/permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
