ISRO Selection Process:

The selection procedure for ISRO recruitment 2024 is done in 2 phases- Written exam and Personal interview. After the declaration of the ISRO Exam Result for the written test, candidates will be chosen for the Personal Interview. Candidates have to secure a minimum 60% aggregate in the ISRO Personal Interview.

Written exam

Eligible candidates who have applied successfully for the ISRO Entrance exam will be selected for the Written interview. The written exam consists of subject-specific multiple-choice questions.  Personal Interview

Candidates who clear the ISRO written exam will be called for the Personal Interview session. The Personal Interview is the final step to the selection procedure for the Indian Space Research Organization. It is mandatory to secure a minimum of 60% aggregate in the Personal interview for candidates to get recruited in their desired post in ISRO. In the Personal Interview round, candidates are evaluated on the basis of their knowledge and verbal skills. The final ISRO Exam Result 2024 will be displayed in the form of a list and will include the names of the candidates who have cleared both the written and the interview rounds of the ISRO Recruitment exam. 

ISRO Merit list and cut off marks

The ISRO Merit List will feature the names of the candidates who have cleared the ISRO Written test. ISRO Salary and other Benefits:

Indian Space Research Organization will conduct the ISRO Entrance Exam for the recruitment of candidates in different categories based on the vacant positions. Candidates who join ISRO for the post of Scientist Engineer will get a basic salary of INR 15,300- INR 39,100 per annum along with allowances and benefits. The salary can reach up to INR 75,000 - INR 80,000 per annum.

Other than the basic salary candidates will also receive allowances and benefits from the Government. The allowances offered by the Central Government will be in the form of Travel Allowance (TA), Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), retirement pensions, Contributory health benefits (CGHS), Leave travel concession (LTC), Central schools for children, etc.
