DU Entrance Registration Form 2024:

DU Registration Form 2024 is released by the National Testing Agency on the 2nd of March 2024. Applicants are required to register themselves by visiting the official website of DU- https://www.du.ac.in/du/ who wishes to appear in the DU Entrance Examination. candidates must make a note that, the 31st of March 2024 is the last date to submit the DU 2024 Registration form.

After this, no application forms will be entertained by the officials. In order to register for the entrance exam, applicants first need to provide certain information for registration i.e username and password which applicants will receive in their registered email/phone number to fill the form.

DU Admission Application Form 2024:

DU Admission Application Form 2024 can be filled only through the online process.

    1. No application forms will be released offline.
    2. The merit-based online DU Entrance Registration form for UG programs will start from the 3rd week of May 2024 to the 2nd week of June 2024.

The online registration for PG Programmes will start in the second week of June 2024 and end until the fourth week of June 2024.

    1. Applicants have to upload their scanned images and signature in order to continue the registration process.
    2. Aspirants must keep in mind that without the payment of the DU Entrance Registration Fee.

DU Registration Fee can be paid through online mode only i.e Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking details 

Note: Candidates are advised to keep the following documents along with them before filling the DU Admission Application Form 2024 for admission. 

  • Class X and Class XII details (Marksheet or Certificate)
  • Aadhar Number.
  • A valid and working Email ID.
  • A valid Mobile Number.
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM Certificate.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate.
  • EWS Certificate from a competent authority.
  • Scanned images of passport-sized candidate’s photograph.
How to fill the DU Entrance Registration Form 2024

Here, some very simple steps are given for the candidates to fill DU Entrance Registration Form 2024:

  • Candidates are required to visit the official website of DU - https://www.du.ac.in/du/.
  • Now, to register for DU admission, candidates have to fill in their email ID, mobile number, full name, Class XII passing year, CBSE Class XII Exam Roll Number, etc.
  • Once all the information is filled in, enter the “captcha verification code” in it.
  • Click on the “Register” button.
  • Now, DU Information Bulletin Page will appear on your screen.
  • Here candidates will find the Nine sections of- Personal section, Academic section, Merit section, Entrance section, Sports section, ECA section, Uploads section, Preview, and Payment section.
  • Under each section, candidates have to provide the essential details in it.
  • After filling all the sections, click on the “submit” button.
  • Now, upload the updated and scanned image and signature of the candidate along with the documents required on the DU application form according to the dimensions prescribed by the university.
  • Click on the “Next” step.
  • Without paying the registration fee the DU Admission Application Form will not be considered valid. DU Registration Form 2024 has to be paid online only.
  • Once the payment process is done click on the “print option” button.
  • Finally, download and take a printout of the registration form.

Remember that:

  •  Candidates will face no disadvantage in applying for UG courses with an age gap.
  • The applicant should have “passed” on each subject individually.
  • Aspirants with “compartment” results will not be eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Candidates who wish to apply for both merit and entrance-based admission have to fill out only one DU registration form.
  • Candidates filling the form under Sports/ECA quotes will have to upload the certificates for verification.
  • The option of entrance exams will not be available for applicants who applied through Sport/ECA and Kashmiri Migrant quota.

What to do in case of forgetting the password of the DU Entrance Registration Form?

It sometimes happens when candidates forget the application password of their Registration form of DU but, they should not be worried about it. The forgotten can be retrieved by following the simple steps given below:

Steps to retrieve password for DU Admission Registration Form 2024:

Step 1. Firstly, visit the official website of the University of Delhi (www.du.ac.in)

Step 2. Now, enter the official login window of the DU Registration form 2024

Step 3. Find the click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ option and then click on it.

Step 4. Then, enter your registered email ID and click on the ‘Send OTP’ button.

Step 5.  An OTP will be sent to you by the university to reset your password

Step 6. Enter the OTP and choose a new password for the Registration form.

Step 7. Now, click on the ‘Submit OTP’ button.

Step 8. Finally, your password is reset, keep the newly chosen password and use that for future login activities.

If Confirmation Mail for DU Entrance Application Form 2024 Not Received?
After the successful registration for the entrance exam, the university sends a confirmation mail on the registered email ID of the candidates which states that they have been successfully registered. But sometimes it happens that candidates fail to get the registration mail from the authority. In such cases, applicants must check their ‘Spam’ folder. If applicants are still unable to find the mail, then they can follow the given steps below:-

Step 1. First of all, visit the official website of the University of Delhi

Step 2. Enter the official login window of the DU Entrance Registration form

Step 3. Now, click on the ‘Resend Confirmation Mail’ option.

Step 4. Enter your Registered Email ID in it.

Step 5. Now, click on the ‘Resend’ Option.

Step 6. Finally, the university will send another confirmation mail.
