AIPMT Exam Pattern 2024

AIPMT or the All India Pre Medical Test is held for the admission of the candidates to the Government and the Private Medical Colleges across the country. Eligible candidates can take the exam in Hindi or English.

The AIPMT Exam pattern 2024 will be based on NTA and will consist of objective type questions with multiple choice answers. The subjects of the exam will be Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

The AIPMT 2024 will consist of Preliminary and Main exam. The Preliminary exam will consist of 200 questions and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours. Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Exam can sit for the Main Exam which will have a duration of 2 hours.

•  The AIPMT Exam will consist of Preliminary Exam and Main Exam.
• The preliminary exam will have objective type questions with multiple choice answers.
• The subjects of the exam are Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
• The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
• The Main exam will consist of 2 papers.
• Each paper will have a duration of 2 hours.
• Paper I will have questions of Physics and Chemistry.
• Paper II will have questions from Botany and Zoology.
• The final exam will consist of essay type questions with non objective type answers and candidates will receive a test booklet.
• ​​​​​​​Candidates can opt for the AIPMT Exam in both Hindi and English.
• ​​​​​​​Candidates opting for English language will get the test booklet in English and candidates opting for Hindi language will get the test booklets in both Hindi and English.
• ​​​​​​​Candidates must use a ball point pen only during the exams.
• ​​​​​​​For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks.
• ​​​​​​​For every incorrect attempt 1 mark will be deducted.
• ​​​​​​​Each subject of the exam will consist of 45 marks.
