NIOS Board 10th Application Form 2024

The Application Process for the National Institute of Open Learning Secondary exam is online. Eligible candidates can complete the registration process within the given time on the official website.

There are 3 streams of the NIOS 10th Board exam:

Stream 1: Learners of the Secondary course

Stream 2: Students who failed in the Secondary exams conducted by recognized Boards

Stream 3: Students who want to appear for an on-demand 10th exam

The official registration process will start in October-November 2024 and late applicants have to submit the late fee. The NIOS Admission will be held in 2 stages- Block I in April and Block II in October.

NIOS Block I and Block II Application Schedule:

• Block I Application

For the applicants who registered or appeared in April/May 2024 exams, the registration process will begin on June 10 and will continue till June 30.

The facility to apply for the online registration with a late fee of Rs.100 will be conducted from July 1 to July 10, 2024, and a consolidated late fee of Rs.1500 will start from July 11 to July 20.

• Block II Application

The public exam of NIOS class 10th will be conducted in October-November 2024. The registration fees will be accepted through online mode only.

The exam fee is Rs 250 per subject and additional fees for practical in subjects having theory and practical components are Rs 120.

Steps to Apply for NIOS 10th Board 2024:

• Visit the official website of NIOS i.e https://sdmis.nios.ac.in/
• Click the Register button available on the homepage
• Read the given instructions and click the “Proceed” button
• Select the State from which you are applying and provide the Identity type and the number (Aadhar Card/Ration Card/Passport)
• The NIOS 10th Board Application Form 2024 will appear on the screen.
• Upload supporting documents with the Application form (mark sheet, Caste Certificate)
• Fill in the Application form with the optional details
• Select your preferred subjects and choose the study center of your choice
• Check the details that you have filled in the Application form for any mistakes in the information
• Pay the Application fee online in the given payment gateway
• Click the submit button to submit your Application form

Documents to be submitted with Application Form:

• Valid ID proof (Aadhar Card/Passport/Ration Card)
• Recent passport size photographs and scanned signature
• Proof of date of birth (Aadhar Card, Birth Certificate)
• Caste category Certificate (if any)
• Disability Certificate (if any)
• Address proof of the candidate (Aadhar Card/ Ration Card/ Electricity bill/Water bill/Passport)
• Ex-serviceman certificate (if any)
• Fail marksheet from previous Board (if any)

• The Registration fee is INR 480 per subject.
• The exam fee is INR 500 per subject with an additional fee of INR 200 for each practical paper.
• The TOC fee is INR 180 per subject.
• The additional fee is INR 720 per subject.

Stream 4

• The Registration fee is INR 480 per subject.
• The exam fee is INR 500 per subject with an additional fee of INR 200 for each practical paper.
• The TOC fee is INR 180 per subject.
