About Quantum University
Quantum University, Roorkee was founded by known industrialist Mr. Shyam Sunder Goyal in 2008, located in Roorkee, the beautiful city of Uttarakhand, Roorkee itself is known for being the hub of top institutions and Universities, the city is also known as the core of Engineering and IT Colleges.
The campus of the University is well-built with an aesthetically designed infrastructure. The University provides all necessary facilities to its students starting from state of art internet, modern laboratories, a library, workshops, Conference halls, and advanced technology computers.
It offers numerous UG and PG courses in Engineering, Management, Computer Application, Commerce and Finance, Humanities, Social Science, Agricultural Studies, Hospitality and Tourism, Media Studies, and Designing. Quantum University, Roorkee has an exclusive Advanced Robotic Control Lab on automation and industrial robotics.
The establishment of this lab on Quantum University’s campus is due to the collaboration of The university with the European Center for Mechatronics, Germany (APS GmbH). The other positive aspect of this collaboration is that this collaboration offered academic cooperation like curriculum development and a faculty-student exchange program.
Quick Heal is another organization that collaborated with the university and now provides various courses in Cyber Security. The University offers various UG courses in BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, BHM, and BBA + MBA.
University’s School of Business was ranked as No. 1 in Uttarakhand & No. 29 in North India by “The Week”, & listed as the top 2nd for Engineering in Uttarakhand by IMRB International.

Admission Process of Quantum University 2024-24
- Students can apply through both online as well as offline modes. The application fee is Rs 1000 only. To apply online visit the official website of the Quantum University https://quantumuniversity.edu.in/, Click on the ”admission” tab in the top right, select the program(UG/PG/Ph.D./Qcare) application and fill in the required details to register yourself on the website, an OTP will be sent on your registered mobile no., verify the OTP, pay application fees(via Netbanking, Credit Card, Debit Card or any E-wallet) and fill up the application form, upload the required documents in pdf format and passport size photograph in JPEG, JPG. Click on Submit.
- Students who are seeking to get admission in the courses like B.Tech/BTech Hons/BTech+MBA degree have to qualify for University Entrance Exam (Q-Care)/JEE Main or any other State Level entrance exam
- Students who qualified NID/DAT entrance exam will be given more preference while providing admission in courses like BSc in Animation and VFX, Graphic Design & UI
- Students who qualified for exams like CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT will be given more preference for MBA admissions.
- Admissions in M.Tech will be provided on the basis of students' GATE scores.
- Admissions to other Pg and Diploma programs will be given on the basis of the merit list of the qualifying exams.
- Students who want to take admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. courses, have to score qualifying marks in the Quantum University Entrance Test followed by a personal interview round.
- Students who qualified for GATE/ CSIR JRF of UGC NET are also eligible to apply for M.Phil and Ph.D. courses.

Quantum University Hostel
The hostel of Quantum University is spread over the lush green area, with separate hostels for boys and girls, the hostel infrastructure is quite vibrant and there are multiple facilities provided to the students who are accommodated in the University hostel. The hostel life is the most memorable time of a student’s college life and Quantum University tried to make it more memorable by providing comfortable living areas.
The rooms where students can get a homely feeling. Unlimited WiFi access is also provided by the hostel facility. There is another facility for those students who are fitness enthusiasts, the hostel has its own gym and students are free to use the gym anytime they want.
Free laundry service is also provided by the Hostel. To ensure the safety of the students, the hostel is equipped with CCTV Cameras in every corner and the campus gate is on guard 24x7. At Quantum, boys and girls can enjoy living in a comfortable and homely environment where students are given freedom within the realm of a disciplined living.
Hostel Fees
The university campus has separate hostels for Boys and girls with triple sharing rooms with both Air condition and Non-air conditioned facilities. The fees for an Air-conditioned room is Rs 53,000 per semester and for a Non-AC room is Rs 40,000 per semester.
