Institute of Computer Science and Technology was established in the year 1999. The college is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh ( state of India ). The college is authorized by the All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.

The ICST is a renowned engineering college in Varanasi, India. It is also known as SHEPA (stands for Society for Higher Education and Practical Applications). The college imparts education in the field of computer science and technology.

SHEPA covers the 10-acre lush green land. The infrastructure has been designed with many modern multi-layered majestic buildings of stunning architecture. Wi-Fi is enabled on the premises and it is a real mix of natural beauty and technological advancement. There are many professional programs are launched to encourage the students.

The college has highly qualified and dedicated faculty members. They are extremely experienced in the academic/ practical areas of their specialization. Central Library: The college has a state-of-the-art library which is fully furnished with the latest books in the fields of computer science, management and education. The library has a rich collection of more than 10,000+ books,70 national/international journals, 30 magazines, and 7 newspapers.

Computer Lab- ICST has a modern and attractive fully air-conditioned computer lab with the latest software application. The lab is equipped with 350 PCs in a large server room. A high-speed internet connection is available round the clock. All systems are connected through the Local Area Network (LAN).
