Institute of Engineering and Technology is an important part of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra (previously Agra University) and it is located at Khandari Campus, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Dr. B.R Ambedkar University is one among the oldest universities in India, covering a wide range of academic pursuits. 

In the past eight decades the university has played an essential role that is reflected by its various achievements in significant manner over the educational map of India as well as the world. The University emerged as an affiliated University in 1927. There are many different personalities involved with the University.

Despite being one of the earliest universities in India, Dr. B.R Ambedkar University has kept its speed according to changing times. Establishment of several independent institutes for conveying specialized education proves this very fact. 

To keep up with the changing times, The Institute of Engineering & Technology, which was established in the year 1998, has led the University to an era of ultimate techno-creativity & scientific expertise. I.E.T has been formed with the aim of meeting the growing demand of technically trained people with strong knowledge of respective disciplines of engineering promoted with the support of latest IT systems, general management and India mythological perspective which would enable an engineer to be a perfect head.
