Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) is a public institution established in the year 1917 in Agra. The institute has also been given the status of deemed university by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in the year 1981.

The foundation of Dayalbagh Educational Institute was laid due to the opening of Radhasoami Educational Institutes (REI) which was started in 1917 by the fifth revered leader of the Radhasoami faith - Sir Anand Sarup. 

According to NIRF Rankings 2025, Dayalbagh Educational Institute ranked 94th among the Top Universities in India. However, In NIRF Rankings 2025, it was ranked as the 72nd-best university in India.
