Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology is one of the best private education institutes in the Kanpur city. It was set up by "Sahyog Jankalyan Samiti" in the year 2004. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, HRD New Delhi and affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
PSIT is spread over 80 acres of land with a beautiful infrastructure. The organization has been placed at the 33rd position in India and the first position in Uttar Pradesh. There are various engineering, management and computer application courses offered for the students. The aim of the college is to impart the best technical knowledge to every student.
The Infrastructure of the College-PSIT has a huge and state of the art infrastructure with well-designed cabins for each staff members. There are e-classrooms, well-furnished laboratories and workshops installed on the PSIT campus that provide hands-on training and practical exposure to students.
The library of the college allows accessing to leading national/ international journals, magazines and newspapers. Faculty and students can borrow the books from the library. It is well- equipped with vast reading halls, reference sections. 24x7 hours internet is accessible inside the campus.
The college has centrally air-conditioned, four multipurpose auditoriums with a capacity of 200-250 seats. Each classroom is spacious and ventilated with the basic facilities including a projector. Computer Labs are well-equipped with the latest software application.
The sports facility is also provided on the campus. Students are encouraged by faculty members to join games activities. PSIT sports area includes a Basketball court, Football ground, Badminton court, Gymnasium and Indoor games such as table-tennis, carrom, chess, etc.
The institution provides many joints for the students to hang out and also kill their hunger pangs by providing the facility such as a cafeteria, coffee lounge and separately air-conditioned mess for Girls and Boys.
Women Development Cell-Women have the power to hold the customs and traditions. They have to prepare themselves for undertaking additional responsibilities to streamlining the way for their families and also for the society.
