BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam 2025:

BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam:  Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conducts the BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam in order to select candidates for various B.Tech programs. Applicants who want to appear in the Entrance Exam will need to fill out the BHU application form via online mode. Candidates can register themselves for the BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam by visiting the official website- https://bhuonline.in/. The BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Registration Form will be available in the 2nd week of February. The BHU B.Tech Registration Form can be submitted until the 3rd week of March.

Details of BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam 2025

Tech is a 4-year undergraduate course with multiple specializations in Engineering (Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc). Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or appear in the final year will be eligible to appear in the B.Tech Entrance Examination. Candidates must also hold a valid rank in JEE Advanced. The BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam will be conducted in both (online & offline) mode. Candidates will be able to download BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Admit Card from the 2nd week of May.

Eligibility for BHU B.Tech Entrance 2025

BHU B.Tech Courses Eligibility Criteria for different streams and the age limit have been set for the candidates by the university in order to appear in the B.Tech Entrance Exam. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before taking admission in different streams of B.Tech.

BHU B.Tech Entrance Registration Open:

The BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Registration Form window will get open in the 2nd week of February. The B.Tech Registration Form can be submitted by the  3rd week of March. The BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Registration Form will be available on the official website- https://bhuonline.in/. In order to apply for admission, candidates are required to successfully register themselves. The application window for completing the registration process will stay open for the candidates until the first week of April. The BHU B.Tech Entrance Registration Form can only be filled through online mode.

In order to complete the registration process, candidates have to pay the BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Fees. the payment process can be done in the following ways:

•  The payment of the BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Fees can be done in both online and offline mode. 
• Online payment can be done by using Debit/Credit Cards.
• Offline payment can be done by choosing the option of “Cash payment through HDFC Bank”. The applicants can pay the fee by submitting the Challan in any branch of HDFC Bank.

BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Syllabus:

BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Syllabus has been released on the official website of BHU- https://bhuonline.in/. Candidates who wish to appear in the Entrance Exam can check the  BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Syllabus before kicking off for their preparation. With the help of the Syllabus, the candidate will be able to get an idea of topics and subjects that will be covered in the  BHU B.Tech Entrance test.

The BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Syllabus will mostly cover 12th-standard subjects. All papers will be of 10+2 level only the topics will differ for each test depending upon the stream of the B.Tech course selected by the applicant. For each stream of B. Tech, the entrance exam will be conducted separately.

BHU B.Tech Entrance Marking Scheme:

• There will be 150 questions in one question paper for B.Tech.
• Each question will carry 3 marks.
• The maximum number of marks candidates can achieve is 450.
• Candidates will get 3 marks for every correct answer.
• For every wrong answer, one mark is deducted. 
• No marks will be given for questions left unanswered.
• If a candidate marks two options for a single question then negative marking will be applicable.

The notification regarding the BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Admit Card will also be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number of candidates. If the candidate is unable to download their admit card they can contact the Office of the Controller of Examinations. No, the admit card will be sent via post/courier/or any kind of postal dispatch. It is compulsory to carry the BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Admit Card to the exam centre. Without the admit card applicants will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. In order to clear the B.Tech Entrance Exam, the university has decided on the minimum qualifying marks that a candidate needs to be stored in the entrance exam. The university set the cut-off marks for different streams of Engineering.  For each course, the BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Cut-Off Marks will be published separately.

The BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Result by entering the required credentials @Email address and Password. The candidate will be able to check the result through online mode only. The university will also send the notification regarding the result on the candidate's registered email ID & mobile number.

The merit list will then be prepared by the authority on the basis of the candidate’s result. The counselling process will then take place after the declaration of the BHU B.Tech Entrance Exam Result. The call letter will then be released by Banaras Hindu University with respect to the seat availability for various B.Tech courses.
