UPSC IFS Exam Application Form 2026

After qualifying for the UPSC 2026 prelims, the candidates are supposed to fill out the DAF form i.e. the Detailed Application Form for their successful candidature. In this section we have listed the steps to fill out the online DAF for your convenience:

Steps to fill out the UPSC 2026 Application Form

• Visit the official website of UPSC that is https://upsc.gov.in/.
• Upon successful qualification of the written part of the examination, candidates must register before completing the online Detailed Application Form.
• Upon clicking the Registration button, A new page will open, asking to fill in some details.
• A candidate must now log in with the registered ID and password to complete the Application Process.
• The application form will appear on your screen. A candidate is required to fill all the specified sections namely Personal Details, Educational Details, Parental Details, Employment Information, Upload documents, and Final Submission correctly.
• A candidate must upload all the required scanned documents correctly and cross-check all the details before submission.
• Pay the required application fee according to your category.
• Download the acknowledgment slip for future reference.

UPSC IFS 2026 Application Fees

All the candidates who qualified for the prelims round now for Round II which is for the mains have to pay a particular application fee to finish their Registration for UPSC IFS 2026 online application. The application fee is listed below in the table:
