UPPCL JE Exam Pattern 2024: UPPCL JE Exam Mode

The UPPCL JE Exam is conducted in an online mode for the candidates.
When the candidates arrive for giving the UPPCL JE Exam, they will be given a specific computer system and they have to sit on that particular system only.
It will be a computer-based test so the candidates should be comfortable working on computers.

UPPCL Junior Engineer Exam Pattern: Nature of Questions in UPPCL JE Exam

The questions asked in the UPPCL JE Exam are Multiple Choice Based Questions.
Probably, there will be 4 choices available in every question and the candidates have to tick any one option which they think to be correct.

UPPCL JE Exam Pattern: UPPCL JE Exam 2024 Highlights

The candidates should be aware of the fact that there is a provision of negative marking for every question attempted incorrectly. 0.25 or ¼ Mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. So, the candidate should attempt only those questions in which he/she is sure of the answers.
All the questions asked are compulsory to attempt, no optional questions will be there.
The total number of questions which the candidates need to attempt is 200 and all of which are multiple-choice based questions.
The UPPCL JE Exam will be of 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours.
The maximum marks are 200 as each question carries equal and 1 mark.

UPPCL JE Exam Pattern 2024: UPPCL JE Exam Related Instructions for Candidates

The candidates should not forget to carry the below-mentioned documents when they are going to appear in the exam and for the document verification process otherwise, the concerned authority will not allow them to sit in the examination:
UPPCL JE Exam Admit Card
Passport Size Photograph (Same as in the Application Form)
A valid Photo Identity Card like Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Pan Card or any other valid Photo Identity Proof
The candidates have to maintain their unique email id and the mobile number which they have entered in the UPPCL JE Exam Application Form throughout the recruitment process.
Candidates who have undergone the Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 are eligible for age relaxation and preference will also be given to them as per the official orders of the Honorable Supreme Court, in case of all parameters being the same.

UPPCL JE Exam Pattern General Instructions for Candidates:

Every Candidate is allotted a particular Computer System so he/she has to make sure to sit on that allotted computer system only.
Since the number of questions is higher i.e. 200 which needs to be attempted within 3 hours only, so the candidates should wisely use the allotted time and they should first attempt those questions in which they are sure of answers.
Ideally, the candidates should not spend more than 1.11 minute on any question.
The candidate’s request to the UPPCL Junior Engineer Exam Pattern organisers for changing the centre allotted to him/her will not be entertained by the authority. So the candidate should fill the Exam Centre carefully.
The candidate should try to reach the exam centre allotted to him/her at least 1-2 hour before the actual exam time so that he/she may not get late.
No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall once the examination starts.
The candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall during exam hours.
