UP Lekhpal 2024 Exam Highlights:

• The candidates should be aware of the fact that there is a provision of negative marking for every question attempted incorrectly. 0.25 mark or ¼ mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. So, the candidate should attempt only those questions in which he/she is sure of the answers. 
• All the questions asked are compulsory to attempt, no optional questions will be there.
• The total number of questions that the candidate needs to attempt are 100 all of which are multiple-choice based questions.
• The duration of the UPSSSC Lekhpal exam pattern is 90 minutes i.e. 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• The maximum marks are 100 which means each question carries an equal 1 mark.

General Instructions for UP Lekhpal Exam 2024:

• Every Candidate is allotted a particular Computer System so he/she has to make sure to sit that allotted computer system only.
• The candidate request to the exam organisers for changing the centre allotted to him/her will not be entertained by the authority. So the candidate should fill the Exam Centre carefully.
• The candidate should try to reach the exam centre allotted to him/her at least 1 hour before the actual exam time so that he/she may not get late.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall once the examination starts.
• The candidates should not forget to carry their UP Lekhpal Admit Card when they are going to appear in the exam otherwise the concerned authority will not allow them to sit in the examination.
• The candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall during exam hours.

• Electronic Watches or Gadgets like Mobile Phone, Calculator, Ear Phone, Ipads etc.

UP Lekhpal Selection Process 2024:

As the candidates have been already told above this UP Lekhpal is an Administrative post in the villages. The candidates should note that the UP Lekhpal is also called UPSSSC Chakbandi Lekhpal. As this is a state-level exam there is very strong competition among the UPSSSC Lekhpal exam pattern candidates who are going to appear in the UP Lekhpal Exam. 

The UP Lekhpal Selection Process involves only 1 stage or steps i.e. An Online Based Computer Test. 

Earlier Personal Interviews were also taken but now the UPSSSC has removed the Personal Interview Process for the Group C Post. 

The candidates have to successfully clear the online computer-based exam for becoming the UP Lekhpal. On the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Exam, the Commission will prepare a merit list and the candidates whose names will appear in the merit list will be called for Document Verification further.
