• To collect the Revenues.
• To collect the rent from the government’s rented places etc.
• To report the death of village residents to update the previously filled data, crime and to help the police in their investigation in such cases.
• To make reports and provide assistance to the villagers in case of any natural disaster.
• To assist in providing relief to the villagers when they are facing agricultural distress.
• To assist in census operations.
• To issue Birth Certificates, Caste Certificates, Voter IDs, Affidavits, etc.
