UP VDO Exam Pattern 2024:

The UP Gram Vikas Adhikari Exam Pattern will be visible on the web portal of the exam governing department i.e. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).  

This exam pattern is highly useful for all aspiring candidates because it clearly describes the section-wise marking scheme, number of questions, time limit for attempting every section, and the topics on which the exam will be based.

As soon as UP VDO Exam Pattern 2024 is released by UPSSSC, the candidates should check it so that they can schedule their studies accordingly and prepare well for UP VDO Exam Pattern 2024 as this exam is highly competitive in nature. UP VDO Exam Mode:

• The UP Gram Vikas Adhikari Exam is conducted in an online mode for aspiring candidates.
• When the candidates arrive for giving the UP VDO Exam Pattern, they will be given a specific computer system for attempting their exam. 
• It will be a computer-based test so the candidates should be comfortable working on computers. 

Nature of Questions in UP VDO Exam 

• The questions asked in the UP Gram Vikas Adhikari Exam Pattern are Multiple Choice Based Questions or objective-type questions.
• Probably, there will be 4 choices available in every question and the candidates have to tick anyone who they think to be correct.

UP VDO Exam Highlights:

• The candidates should be aware of the fact that there is a provision of negative marking for every question attempted incorrectly. 0.50 or ½ Mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. So, the candidate should attempt only those questions in which he/she is sure of the answers. 
• All the questions asked are compulsory to attempt, no optional questions will be there.
• The total number of questions that the candidate needs to attempt is 150 all of which are multiple-choice based questions.
• The duration of the UP VDO/Gram Vikas Adhikari Exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes.
• The maximum number of marks is 300 Marks.

General Instructions for Candidates

• Every Candidate is allotted a particular Computer System so he/she has to make sure to sit on that allotted computer system only.
• Since the number of questions is higher i.e. 150 which needs to be attempted within 2 hours only, so the candidates should wisely use the allotted time and they should first attempt those questions in which they are sure of answers. 
• The candidate's request to the exam organizers for changing the center allotted to him/her will not be entertained by the authority. So the candidate should fill the Exam Centre carefully.
• The candidate should try to reach the exam center allotted to him/her at least 1 hour before the actual exam time so that he/she may not get late.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall once the examination starts.
• The candidates should not forget to carry their UP Gram Vikas Adhikari Admit Card when they are going to appear in the exam otherwise the concerned authority will not allow them to sit in the examination.
• The candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall during exam hours.

• Electronic Watches or Gadgets like Mobile Phone, Calculator, Ear Phone, Ipads, etc.
• Any printed material or paper.
• Handbag/Purse
• Eatables 
• Any camera, tape recorder, etc.

UP VDO Selection Process:

The UP VDO Selection Process involves only 1 stage or steps i.e. An Online Based Computer Test. Earlier Personal Interviews were also taken but now the UPSSSC has removed the Personal Interview Process for the Group C Post. As this is a state-level exam there is very strong competition among the candidates who are going to appear in the UP VDO/Gram Vikas Adhikari  Exam. 

The candidates have to successfully clear the online computer-based exam for becoming the UP Village Development Officer. On the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Exam, the Commission will prepare a merit list and the candidates whose names will appear in the merit list will be called for Document Verification further.
