Important Facts of the TNUSRB SI Recruitment Exam Date 2025

  • Candidates can find all the information of the TNUSRB SI recruitment dates on the official website. It is necessary to keep checking the official website regularly for the latest updates on the exam.
  • The beginning and the last dates of the official notification will be mentioned in the notification.
  • The date of release of the TNUSRB SI Admit Card will be updated on the official site. Normally the Admit Card is released about 1 week before the exam.
  • ​​​​The exam dates will be released on the official website and the date of release of the result will be notified in proper time.

TNUSRB SI Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

  • Interested candidates must check the eligibility criteria for the TNUSRB exams before filling in the Application form.

Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens and residents of the State of Tamil Nadu. Candidates belonging to any State other than Tamil Nadu cannot apply for the TNUSRB SI recruitment 2025.

Age limit

  • Candidates must be of 20- 28 years of age as on 1st July 2025. For candidates belonging to backward classes/upper backward classes/most backward classes/denotified communities, the upper age limit is 30 years.
  • ​​​​Candidates belonging to special categories like SC/ST have an upper age limit of 33 years.
  • ​​​​​​Candidates who are ex servicemen/ex-personnel of paramilitary forces have an upper age limit of 45 years.
  • Departmental candidates appearing for the Departmental quota exam have an upper age limit of 47 years.Destitute widows have an upper age limit of 35 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must complete Graduation from a recognized/UGC approved Institute in the 10+2+3/4/5 pattern.
​​​​​​Candidates who have completed the Diploma program must follow the 10+3+2 pattern. Those who have completed Distance Education/SSLC/Open Universities must have followed the same pattern as above. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor Degree from open University but have  not followed the 10+3+2 pattern of education are not eligible for application.
​​​​​​​Candidates must have Tamil as the compulsory subject in Classes X and XII. Those who did not have Tamil as their compulsory subject must pass the Tamil Part II Test within 2 years of joining service.
