The Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. CAT is the compulsory exam for the admission of the candidates to the IIMs and other top Business schools in India for the 2 year PGDM course. The exam is conducted in the computer-based mode and eligible candidates can apply on the official website of IIMs. The CAT exam is conducted in English and has a duration of 2 hours.
Eligibility for PGDM CAT Entrance Exam:
The CAT exam is held in 3 sessions and has a duration of 120 minutes. There are 3 sections of the CAT exam that are Quantitative Ability, Verbal and Reading Comprehension, Data Accuracy, and Logical Reasoning.
The Management Aptitude Test or MAT is conducted by AIMA(All India Management Association).MAT is a National Level exam and is held in all three modes that are paper-based mode (PBT), Internet-based mode(IBT), and Computer-based mode(CBT). Xavier Aptitude Test is a National level PGDM Entrance exam and the XAT exam score is accepted by 700 Institutes across the country. There are 4 sections of the XAT exam namely Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision making, General knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Interpretation. The XAT Exam is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur.
Eligibility criteria of the XAT Exam:
The XAT exam has objective-type questions with multiple choice answers. There are a total of 100 questions in the XAT exam. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and the medium of the exam is English.
The MAH CET is a State level Entrance exam for the admission of candidates to the top Management Institutes in Maharashtra.
