IBPS PO Exam 2025:

✎ Every year the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the examination IBPS PO (Probationary Officer)  for the selection of candidates who want to work in public sectors and Regional Banks spread across India.

✎ IBPS PO Exam 2025 enables the recruitment of probationary officers for the selection of candidates who want to work in public sectors and Regional Banks spread across India. IBPS conducts various bank exams. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) renamed the Bank PO exam to the Common Written Exam (CWE PO) in 2011.

✎ The examination will be held online in two phases: Preliminary and Main exams. ☛ The IBPS PO 2025 Exam Notification is expected to be released on August 2025 with the available vacancies of 5000+.

☛ The IBPS PO Exam 2025 is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection every year. This exam is a doorway for the most preferred bank jobs. Deserving candidates will be shortlisted for the post of PO for various nationalized banks listed under it.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO Exam 2025:

IBPS PO 2025 eligibility criteria are based on the set of guidelines in terms of Nationality, Age, Educational qualification, and reservation Category. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before filling up the application. According to IBPS PO Eligibility criteria, 2025 candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible for this exam and can apply for it. The Eligibility Criteria for the IBPS PO Exam 2025 are as follows:

• Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be either-

1. Citizen of India 
2. Subject of Nepal
3. Subject of Bhutan
4. A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 and permanently settled in India.

Individuals who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Kenya,  Pakistan, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Vietnam belong of Indian origin and permanently settled in India.

Note: Candidates who belong to the 2, 3, 4, and 5 categories mentioned above must have a certificate of eligibility that has been issued by the government of India.

Age (As of 01/08/2025)

• A candidate must be born between 02/08/1990 and 01/08/2002.
• The relaxation of age is given for the reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification for IBPS PO Exam:

• All educational qualifications should be recognized by the authorized university.
• Candidates must possess proper documents issued by the recognized university mentioning the result has been declared by them. In case the result is declared online, the certificate should be signed by the official authority which should be provided at the time of the interview.
• Candidates should mention the final aggregate obtained in the graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online IBPS PO Registration Form.

Note: 

• All the educational qualifications mentioned by a candidate should be from a Board/ Institution/ University recognized by the Govt. of India and approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the final result should be declared before 04/09/2025.
• Proper documents from the Board/ Institution/ University for the declaration of result should be submitted before 04/09/2025 at the time of the interview.
• In case if the result of a particular examination is declared online on the official website of the University or Institute then a proper document/certificate is required by the appropriate authority. 

IBPS PO 2025 Exam Centre:

IBPS PO Exam 2025 is conducted online across different centers all over India. Candidates have a choice to fill up their preferences in an online application to choose the nearest center. If the seat is not available in the desired venue. In such a case IBPS will allot an exam center by itself and it can’t be changed further. Candidates are required to follow the guidelines given by IBPS during the examination.

IBPS PO Selection Process 2025:

The selection process of IBPS PO comprises 3 phases:

• Preliminary Exam 
• Main Exam
• Interview Round
• Candidates who crack the Preliminary Exam will be eligible to appear in the main examination.
• Similarly, candidates who crack the Main Exam will be required to appear in the Interview Round.
• Finally, after clearing the Interview Round the candidates will be recruited as IBPS Probationary Officers in participating banks.
• The registration form for all three phases is common, however, for each exam, the admit card will be released separately.
