GLAET Exam Pattern 2024:-

Every year GLA University conducts the GLAET Examination to provide admission in various PG and UG programs. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. GLAET 2024 will have 90 multiple-choice questions.

GLAET Exam Pattern 2024:

GLAT is conducted by GLAET University. It is the university-level examination that offers admission into various UG and PG courses offered by the university. In this article, we have mentioned all the details regarding GLA University Entrance Test (GLAET) Exam Pattern 2024. Read the whole article to understand the latest exam pattern.

  • The examination will consist of the question of the objective type known as Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • The candidates can choose only one correct option for every question provided.
  • The time duration of the entrance examination is 2 hours or 120 minutes.
  • The entrance test will be conducted via online mode on the respective examination center which has been chosen by the candidate while filling the application form.
  • For every correct response, candidates will be awarded 4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

GLA University Entrance Test (GLAET) Exam Pattern 2024:

The examination will consist of the questions coming from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. There will be a total of 90 questions and below we have mentioned how the questions are distributed among subjects:

For BCA- There are a total of 45 Multiple Choice Questions asked in the exam. 60 minutes are given to complete the test. The maximum marks are 180. The question paper consists of 4 parts namely:
  • General Knowledge
  • Reasoning
  • English
  • Mathematics
For MCA/ MCA (Lateral)- The examination will consist of a total of 75 questions. And the question paper is divided into 3 sections:- Part A, Part B, and Part C. Each part consist of 25, 10, and 40 questions respectively
For MBA- The examination will consist of a total of 75 questions and the question paper is divided into 4 parts:
  • General Knowledge- 20 questions
  • Reasoning- 20 questions
  • English- 15 questions
  • Mathematics- 20 Questions

Candidates will be given 90 minutes to complete the entrance test wherein they can score a maximum of 300 marks.

For B.Pharm/B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)- The examination will consist of a total of 75 questions. Candidates will be given 1 hour 30 minutes to complete this entrance test. Candidates can score a maximum of 300 and the question paper is divided into 4 parts:
  • Physics- 15 questions and the weightage is 60 marks.
  • Chemistry- 30 questions and the weightage is 120 marks.
  • Mathematics/Biology-10 questions and the weightage is 40 marks.
  • English-20 questions and the weightage is 80 marks.
For B.Sc Hons. Biotech- The examination will consist of a total of 45 questions. The maximum number of marks that a candidate can score are 180. Candidates will be given 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the questions.

The question paper is divided into 3 parts that are-

  • Zoology- 17 questions with a weightage of 68 marks.
  • Chemistry- 17 questions with a weightage of 44 marks.
  • Botany- 11 questions with a weightage of 68 marks.
For M.Sc Microbiology/Biotech- The examination will consist of a total of 45 questions. The maximum number of marks a candidate can score are 180. Candidates are given 1 hour.

The question paper consist of 3 parts:

  • Zoology- 20 questions with a weightage of 80 marks.
  • Chemistry- 05 questions with a weightage of 20 marks.
  • Botany- 20 questions with a weightage of 80 marks.
GLA University Entrance Test (GLAET) Exam Pattern 2024: Important Points
 

While giving the GLA Examination the candidates need to follow the important instructions mentioned below:

  • Once a candidate clicks on the START button, the timer will start and the Multiple Choice Question will appear on the screen. Select the answer which you found correct.
  • The numbered list of the questions will appear on the right side of the screen.
  • While giving the examination keep a close eye on the time limit and try to solve all the questions which you are most sure about to be correct and leave the questions which you can’t solve as there is negative marking.
  • Once the time limit is completed the candidates can not answer further and the test will be over.
  • The submit button will appear when the candidate has viewed all the questions at least once. After finishing the examination, don’t forget to click on the submit button.
