Odisha Board 11th Exam 2023: The Odisha Board 11th will be conducted at the school level that is it will be a non Board exam. The half-yearly exams for the Odisha Board 11th 2023 will begin a few months after the starting of the session and the exam dates for the final exam will be released by the authorities after that.

The Odisha Board 11th exam is very important for the students as it will lay the foundation for the Higher Secondary exams. Students must study all the subjects and topics of the exam clearly to score well in the final exams.

Students who will be appearing for the Odisha Board 11th exam can choose from any of the 3 streams- Arts, Science and Commerce. Up to Class 10, the students of the Odisha Board schools had to study all the subjects and in Class 11 they have to select from any of the 3 streams.

Students of the Odisha Board 11th 2023 have to select from Arts, Science, or Commerce based on their preference. The Class 11 streams and subjects will denote what the student wants to opt for during graduation.

List of Streams of Odisha Board 11th Class 2023:

The Odisha Board Class 11 exam will consist of 3 streams - Arts, Science and Commerce. For each stream there will be 9 subjects in the Odisha Board 11th 2023. It is compulsory for students of each stream to select a compulsory 5 subjects.

These compulsory subjects include the following:

  • English
  • Main Indian language(MIL)
  • Yoga
  • Environmental education
  • Basic Computer education

The compulsory papers will consist of 100 marks each. Theory- 70 marks. Practical- 30 marks. Other than the compulsory subjects, students appearing for the Odisha Board 11th exam have to select 4 elective subjects.

Out of the 4 electives students have to select 2 electives from their preferred stream (Science/Arts/Commerce). The remaining 2 electives have to be chosen from Group A and Group B subjects as given.

Eligibility Criteria for Odisha Board 11th Class 2023:

  • The student must be at least 15/16 years of age.
  • The student must pass Class 10 exam and have Class 10 passing Certificate.
  • The student must be a domicile of Odisha.
  • The student must get the minimum percentage of marks (CGPA) as set by the school.
