The admission process for the courses offered at MITS Gwalior is as follows:

• B.Tech: Candidates can apply for admission through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main or Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Test (MP PET) conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB).
• M.Tech: Candidates can apply for admission through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or through the university-level entrance test conducted by RGPV.
• Ph.D.: Candidates can apply for admission through the university-level entrance test conducted by RGPV or through the NET/GATE score.
