Jiwaji University is one of the esteemed public universities in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The university was established back in 1964 and now it has the status of being the state university of Madhya Pradesh. Over 390 colleges are affiliated with Jiwaji University.

Jiwaji University is a multi-campus and multi-disciplinary university in India. More than 400 courses are offered at Jiwaji University over 14 streams. The University is approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) and UGC (University Grant Commission).

• Library

There is a Central Library on the campus which is filled with over 1,40,000 books with 8000 bound volumes of research journals. At present more than 142 journals are present there, in both foreign and Indian.

Not only this the library also supports internet access, a microfilm reader, a 16-mm projector, and a number of films on various subjects. The central library is the biggest educational library present in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
