ITM University is located in the Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh and was established in 2015, accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC). ITM University imparts top-class education in the disciplines of Management, Technology, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, Applied Sciences, Law, Education, Physical Education, and Commerce.

The university offers admissions based on the National and state-level Entrance examinations such as JEE Main. NATA, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, MP Pre MCA, MP-PAT, and the university conducts its entrance test known as ITM NEST to take admissions in UG and PG courses. All the candidates have to undergo state-level or college-level counseling for seat allotment.
