With a handful of opportunities, the Central Bank of the country i.e The Reserve Bank Of India has announced recruitment for RBI Grade B Officers. Following the notification, RBI has opened 199 vacancies for the recruitment of Officers in Grade B (General) DR, DSIM, and DEPR.

As per the norms, RBI Grade B Registration  will start soon. The last date for submitting the online application form is 11 October.

The selection for RBI Grade B Officer is done in three Phases:

  • Preliminary 
  • Mains and
  • Interview

The exam for RBI Grade B Officer is conducted Online which consists of two papers i.e Phase 1 (Preliminary) and Phase 2 (Mains). Applicants who successfully qualify both the phases with required aggregate marks are then called for the third phase i.e to appear for RBI Grade B Interview.

Candidates who successfully clear out the interview round will be paid ‘Level 7’ wages, which is :

Rs. 35150-1750(9)-50900-EB-1750(2)-54400-2000(4)-62400.

 Educational Qualifications

Grade B Officer (DR) General

  • Should hold 60% marks in Bachelor as well as in 10th &12th examination (50% for SC/ST/PWD)

Grade B Officer (DR) DSIM

  • Should hold a Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/Mathematics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics with an aggregate of 55% of the marks.

Grade B Officer (DR) DEPR

  • Should hold a Master’s Degree in  Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance with an aggregate of 55% of the marks.

Age Limit Required For Grade B Officer

The minimum age criteria allotted by the RBI for candidates to apply for the Grade B Exam is 21 years and the maximum is 30 years.

RBI Grade B Admit Card

Candidates who have applied for the RBI Grade B Officer exam, within a specified period will be issued with their admit card/hall ticket/call letter which can be easily downloaded from the official website.

Note: Admit cards for RBI Grade B will be issued separately for both Phase-I&II exams. Admit card for Phase-II will be provided only when an applicant can clear the Phase-I exam.
