➥ Miranda House

➥ St. Stephen's College
St. Stephen's College was established in the year 1881 by Rev. Samuel Scott Allnut. It was initially set up in a small house located near Kimari Bazar of Chandni Chowk. The college was established to provide education to the children of British Officials.
After 60 years of continuance, In 1941 it finally shifted to the North Campus area, University Enclave. Earlier St. Stephens College was affiliated with Calcutta University, later it changed to Punjab University and in 1992 it got its affiliation from Delhi University.

Incepted in 1926, Shri Ram College of Commerce was established by the Commercial Education Trust as Commerce College. Later in 1951, it was renamed Shri Ram College of Commerce in the name of Sir Shri Ram, the founder of the college.
