Steps for CBSE Scholarship Registration Form 2024 for fresh Students:

If you are also a fresh candidate, follow these steps to fill the CBSE Scholarship Registration form.

Step 1: Go to the online application page of the CBSE scholarship.

Step 2: Click on the fresh application tab.

Step 3: Write your CBSE class 10 roll number and Date of Birth.

Step 4: After this, you will see an application form in which you have to fill in all the details.

Step 5: Once you filled the form, click on the Submit button. After which you will be given a registration number. Note down that number for future use.

Step 6: Take a printout of the undertaking in a specific format.

Step 7: Now, fill the form and paste a recent photograph of yours and get it attested by your school.

Step 8: Make an affidavit in the prescribed format.

Step 9: After this, you have to upload the scanned copy of the undertaking and affidavit in Pdf format. The file size should not be more than 1 KB. 

Step 10: Go to the Upload Documents section on the CBSE Scholarship website and upload your documents.

Step 11: After successfully uploading the documents, click the Print Confirmation tab. This will generate a confirmation once your document will be submitted successfully. Keep that Confirmation page safely with you for future use.

Steps for CBSE Scholarship Registration form 2024 Renewal:

This process is offline. You can follow the given steps to renew your CBSE Scholarship Registration Form.

Step 1: Go to the official registration website.

Step 2: Get the Scholarship Renewal form from the site.

Step 3: Fill in all the details given in the form.

Step 4: Attach the documents like the class 11 mark sheet, a copy of Aadhar Card, Bank Passbook/ Cancelled cheque. 

Step 5: Now, you have to send all the above documents to the given Address  -

Selection Procedure for CBSE Scholarship Form 2024:

CBSE has certain factors from which they select students for the scholarship. Given below are some of the criteria which you need to fulfill.

  1. You must be a student of CBSE affiliated school.
  2. You have to pass your class 10th with 60% or more marks.
  3. You have to provide the original affidavit in the prescribed format which is attested by the first class SDM/ Judicial Magistrate/ Notary/ Executive Magistrate.
  4. Ensure that the CBSE Board Scholarship Registration Form is attested by the Principal of the school where you are studying for your class 11th.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship:

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship is for those girls who are the single child of their parents. The main objective of this scholarship is to promote girls education. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Single girl child with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.2 CGPA in CBSE Class 10th Exam and studying in class 11th in the school affiliated with CBSE.
  • The tuition fee of their class 11th should not be more than INR 1500 per month.
  • NRI students can also apply for this scholarship if their tuition fee is not more than INR 6000 per month.

Reward:

  • The girl child will get INR 500 per month for 2 years.

You have to go to the official website of the CBSE Board. Search for the Single Girl Child Scholarship and fill in the required details. 

Shiksha Abhiyan Scholarship:

Shiksha Abhiyan Scholarship is started by Modi Foundation. It provides scholarships to any student regardless of category and class. It follows the philosophy of “No youth should be deprived and left behind from education". The main aim of this scholarship is to provide education to all the students all over India.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • This scholarship is valid for Indian students only.
  • Students with a good academic record and higher attendance are eligible for this scholarship.
  • It is applicable for students studying in class from 8th to 12th.
  • Students who are waiting for their board results can also apply for this scholarship.

All India Meritorious Scholarship

All India Meritorious Scholarship Test (AIMST) is an exam that you can give online and acquire maximum marks. The reward is given to 62 students. Based on the marks of the test, family income, board marks, and interviews, students are selected for the scholarship.

Eligibility criteria:

  • This scholarship is given to the students who are in Class 11th, 12th, and 12th pass out.
  •  Students who have given the class 10th exam but not enrolled in class 11th can also apply.

Steps to Applying for a Scholarship:

Go to the official website of the CBSE Board and look for the All India Meritorious Scholarship section. Fill in the required details and click on the submit button.

NCERT Scholarship:

NCERT Scholarship is for the students who have cleared their 10th from CBSE or any other board. Students have to give a test to acquire the scholarship. The main objective of this scholarship is to help the students to continue their higher studies. 

The test is divided into 2 sections. The first is at the state level which is conducted by the Department of State Education Research and Training. The second is at the National level which is conducted by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • In the 9th exam, students need to score 45% (SC/ ST) and 55% (General).
  • Students between the age limit of 8 to 18 can apply for this scholarship.

Reward:

Students will get full financial support for their higher studies.

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE):

This scholarship program is started by the NCERT in the year 1963. The main objective of this exam is to identify the talents of the students and make them go for their higher studies. This exam is of 2 sections. The first is the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the second is the Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). 

Eligibility criteria:

  • Class 10th students can apply.
  • The maximum age of the student should be 18.

Reward:

Class 11th onwards students (except Ph.D.) will get cash of INR 500 per month to continue their future studies.

Steps to Apply for this Scholarship:

You can apply for this scholarship by filling out the form online on the SCERT website or with the state liaison officer. You have to get a sign of your school principal on the form.

National Scholarship Exam (NSE):

This Exam is conducted by the National Institute of Career Education (N.I.C.E.). The main objective of this exam is to identify the hidden talent in the students and to support them for a better future.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students from CBSE/ ICSE/ SSC backgrounds can apply for this scholarship.

Vidyadhan Scholarship:

This scholarship is applicable for 10th pass-out students who want to go for higher education. CBSE or any board students can apply for this scholarship. Vidyadhan Scholarship from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation provides a scholarship for 2 years. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students who have secured more than 90% or 9 CGPA in their class 10th exam are eligible for this scholarship.
  • Students whose family income is less than 2 lakh can apply for this scholarship.

Reward:

  • Students from classes 11th and 12th will get INR 6,000 per year.

Steps to apply for this Scholarship:

Go to the official website of the CBSE board to apply for this scholarship. While filling the CBSE Scholarship registration form 2024, you must use your personal email id.

INSPIRE Scholarship:

INSPIRE Scholarship is for science students. This is developed by the Department of Science & Technology to help students who want to build their careers in the science field. 

The main 3 components of this Scholarship are - 

  • Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent (SEATS)
  • Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)
  • Assured Opportunity for Research Careers (AORC)

Eligibility criteria:

  • Students pursuing courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at the B.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. levels in their 12th class are eligible for this scholarship.
  • Students under 10,000 rank in JEE Advanced, JEE Main, and NEET Exam, and the students studying Natural and Basic sciences in any academic institute or university for their graduate and post-graduate degree are eligible for this scholarship.
  • Students studying in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Basic Sciences (DAE-CBS), National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) at the University of Mumbai or happen to be Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS), National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), scholars and Science Olympiad Medalists want to do courses in the Natural & Basic sciences to complete B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees are eligible for the "SHE" scholarship.

Reward:

  • Students doing their Bachelor’s and Master’s in Natural & Basic Sciences will get a scholarship of INR 80,000 per year.

Steps to Apply for this Scholarship:

  • Visit online-inspire.gov.in to register yourself for this scholarship.
  • Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students (CSSS):
  • This scholarship is for class 12th students. The aim of this scholarship is to help the students to study further.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students must be going through the regular course.
  • Students whose family income is less than INR 6 lakh per annum can fill the CBSE Scholarship Registration form 2024.
  • Students should not be receiving any other scholarship apart from this.

Reward:

  • At the graduation level, students will be offered INR 10,000 per year and at the post-graduation level, INR 20,000 will be offered. For professional courses, INR 20,000 will be given to the students in their 4th and 5th years.

Steps to apply for this Scholarship:

You have to first register at the National Scholarship Portal. A menu will appear, where you have to select the “Post Matric” option. Select the option “Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students”.

AICTE- Scholarship Scheme to Girl Child (SSGC):

AICTE- Scholarship Scheme to Girl Child (SSGC) is also known as Pragati Scholarship. It is started by MHRD to support girl child education.

Eligibility criteria:

  • This scholarship will be provided to Indian girls only.
  • This is applicable to a single girl child. But also consider 2 girl children in the family where the total family income should be less than 8 lakh per annum.
  • Students who will take admission in any degree or Diploma program in any AICTE approved institute.

Reward:

  • Students will be offered a scholarship of INR 30,000 and INR 2000 per month for 10 months as incidentals every year.
