UPSC CDS 2 Final Results 2024:

Union Public Selection Commission (UPSC) will declare the UPSC CDS 2 2024 result on May 2024. All those candidates who have given this Combined Defense Service (CDS 2 2024)  examination can review their secured marks by downloading their respective results and can avail of every essential information regarding the CDS 2 result 2024 by accessing the official website of UPSC @ upsc.gov.in.

As per the reports, the commission has released the vacancies to recruit 414 deserving candidates for different defense forces such as the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (for male and female both). UPSC conducted this CDS 2 written examination in November 2024 at different exam centers. In this session, a sum of 4,729 candidates has qualified for this written test. The commission has shortlisted about 100 candidates, out of which 60 candidates are chosen for the Indian Military Academy (IMA) whereas 34 for Indian Naval Academy (INA), and 6 for Air Force Academy (AFA).

UPSC CDS 2 Result 2024:

According to the official notification “The results of Medical Examination of the aspirants have not been taken into consideration in preparing the merit list for the candidates. The candidature of all the appeared candidates is Provisional (temporary). The Army Head Quarter will do the verification of the Date of Birth certificate and Educational Qualification of these Candidates. The selected applicants are required to forward their certificates of Birth/Educational qualification, etc. claimed by them, along with the Photostat attested copies.

The commission will publish the marks of the students within 15 days from the date of announcement of final results on the official website for 30 days.

CDS 2 2024 Merit List:

Abhishek Raj, Nitin Singh Bohra, and Abhishek Ravi have achieved the highest rank in the Indian Military Academy and Indian Naval Academy's merit list. Anurag Singh, Akash Sharma, Shashank Prakash Tripathi, and 5 other candidates’ names have been listed as the selected candidates for the Air Force Academy.

All the selected candidates will now be considered eligible for seeking admission to the 147th (DE) Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course- No. 206 F(P) Course.
