UPSEE (AKTU/UPTU) Counselling:

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (earlier known as UPTU) is a sanctioned organization that has the authority to conduct the UPSEE 2026 Counselling. The schedule for AKTU Counselling 2026 will be commenced from June 10, 2026, to July 15, 2026. Only those candidates are eligible who have secured valid marks on UPSEE 2026 Merit List. Candidates should have completed their UPSEE 2026 Counselling Registration process before the last date. AKTU counselling fees must be paid within the prescribed mode. UPSEE Exam Counselling 2026

UPSEE (AKTU/UPTU) 2026 Counselling – Schedule, Fee, Registration, Process & Seat Allotment Now:

UPSEE is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow for admission into various UG, PG and PhD courses. This exam was successfully scheduled for April 21, 2026. Those candidates who have cleared the written entrance exam will now have to go through the UPSEE Counselling process. The UPSEE (AKTU) counselling schedule 2026 has begun on 10 June and ends on 15 July 2026.

All qualifying candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses and university through UPSEE counselling. Seats are allotted based on their merit-cum-reservation-cum-choice available at the time of counselling. Once the seat is allotted to the applicant, no change in the Institution/ branch is admissible. The number of colleges, courses and seats may increase or decrease up to the counselling dates. Uttar Pradesh Govt. reserves 15% of the total sanctioned seats in Private Institutions for management quota and NRI candidates. UPSEE Counselling Call Letter will be accessible from its official website @upsee.nic.in. Once the UPSEE 2026 Counselling Registration and UPSEE 2026 Counselling Document Verification process will over, UPSEE 2026 Counselling Seat Allotment process will be commenced.

UPSEE 2026 Counselling Process:

Step 1 – Registration, Document uploading & Payment of counselling fee

First, Interested candidates should visit the official website of AKTU. They can register themselves for taking part in the AKTU Counselling 2026 procedure.
Afterwards, they will have to provide their UPSEE 2026 roll number, the application number, the father’s name and the candidate’s date of birth etc.
After the successful registration, candidates will be required to pay the admission fees through online mode (credit/debit card or net banking).
Upload the scanned documents Also, the required documents are to be uploaded.

Step 2 – AKTU Counselling 2026 Document verification

After document verification, candidates will be given a One-time-password (OTP) to log in for a choice filling

Step 3 – Online Choice Filling and Locking

Click on the ‘Online Choice Filling’ tab. As you click on that link, the candidate will proceed to a new page where he/she will be asked to enter the information about roll number, topic, birth date, and password.
Now, they have to click ‘Confirm details’ to proceed further.
As per your eligibility criteria and marks, the candidate will be asked to enter their choice form. After filling out the form, click on ‘Save & proceed’.
Now, you should take two printouts of your form for further usage.

Step 3: UPSEE (AKTU/UPTU) 2026 Counselling Seat Allocation

The result will be declared on the informed dates on the official website.

Step 4 – Seat Confirmation or Online willingness by the candidates:

During this step of counselling, candidates can select either of three options to confirm seat allotment - Freeze, Float or Withdrawal.

Freeze: If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat in AKTU Counselling 2026, they can choose the option as Freeze

Float: If candidates have any doubt and also wants to get their seat upgraded in next round of AKTU Counselling 2026, they can select the option as Float
Withdrawal: Candidates if not satisfied with the allotted seat in AKTU Counselling 2026 and wishes not to participate in further admission process can select Withdrawal

Step 5: Report at respective university

After completing the aforementioned steps of AKTU Counselling 2026, the candidate can reach their respective universities with the required documents.
While you are going to visit the allotted college then you should carry the below documents along with your security deposit receipt, allocation form.

AKTU/UPTU Admission Procedure 2026:

Once the AKTU Counselling 2026 process is over, candidates should have to report at the allotted college/university with a provisional allotment letter.
They have to pay the remaining amount of the fee & all relevant documents (Original & one set of self-attested photocopies) to confirm their seat & admission.
