UP Vidhan Parishad Result will be announced by the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Parishad Sachivalaya on their official website. The UP Legislative Council Results will be announced once both of the Prelims and Mains Exams are conducted successfully.

The UP Legislative Council Result comes in the form of a merit list. Once the candidates appear for the Prelims Exam (Except for the post of Servicer), a merit list will be prepared of all the selected candidates who will give the Mains Exam. After the Mains Exam, again a merit list will be prepared in which the name of only those candidates who have obtained the minimum pass percentage will be displayed.

How is the UP Vidhan Parishad Result prepared?

As there are only 96 vacant posts available in the UP Vidhan Parishad Sachivalaya but the number of candidates who will appear for this exam will be thousands or lakhs, so the competition is going to be very strong among the candidates.

Due to a high number of applications, the concerned authority has set a Minimum Cutoff Percentage which the candidate needs to secure in both the Prelims and Mains Exam Separately to see his/her name in the UP Vidhan Parishad Exam Merit List. 

The candidates should note the Merit List will be prepared twice:

1. The first merit list will be released after the Prelims Examination of those candidates who will clear the Prelims and now they have to sit in the Mains Exam 
2. The second and final merit list of the selected candidates will be prepared after the Mains Exam.
