The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC GD Exam every year for recruiting eligible candidates for various posts in central government. The SSC GD 2025 Exam will be held in the month of August 2025. As we are all familiar with the thing, the exam is conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test). The Pattern of SSC GD Exam is objective type with comprises of four sections i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness & Reasoning Ability.

The following tips will help students while they are preparing for SSC GD Exam 2025. So read the following points properly.

You should know your strengths and weaknesses before you go for the exam preparation.
First of all, attempt all those questions that you know you can do it correctly.
The exam is no time for you to experiment so do not waste time rewriting questions on the rough sheet.
Candidates are advised to use the rough sheet only for calculations.
Leave the question that takes longer than 30 seconds to solve. If you are more robust in one subject, for example - general awareness, then allocate less time to that section and give more time to solve vulnerable topics.
Do not forget - no one can solve all the questions. That's why you only make the same question that you come from well
You focus first on those questions which you can solve easily.
Students need to practice grammar for the English section before the examination and remembering the formula for the quant is very important.
Do not forget about the 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.
