SSC GD Constable Application form 2019:

The SSC releases the notification on its official site. The commission starts the application form filling process in August month every year. This process will continue for about one month. The application fees for SSC GD constable exam is just only Rs 100. Those candidates who belong to the SC / ST / PWD category, do not have to pay the fee. Applicants can pay the fees via SBI Challan/SBI Net banking or by using Visa, Mastercard or Debit card or Maestro Credit. Whenever candidates go to fill the online application form they have to give preference of following CAPFs/ Organizations in the order of set priority for a particular post:

(a) BSF 

(b) CISF 

(c) CRPF 

(d) SSB

(e) ITBP

(f) Assam Rifles

(g) NIA

(h) SSF

Eligibility Criteria For SSC GD Constable:
  • Candidates who have just 10th passed from a recognized educational board are eligible to apply for GD Constable (Candidates will be calculated in the context of 01-08-2019.SF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen).
  • The minimum age limit for applying to SSC GD post should be between 18 to 23 years. Age relaxation for those candidates who belongs to reserved categories as per the government norms.

Step by Step Procedure for filling the SSC Application form:

Applicants can get details related to application form from its official portal. Candidates should follow the simple steps given below.

Step 1: Online Registration
  • First of all, candidates should go through the Official Website of SSC i.e. www.ssc.nic.in.
  • After that,  search for a button to Application Form and hit on it
  • As you click on that button, a new page will appear with the application form on your computer screen.
  • Now, candidates need to fill the details like Name, Father’s Name, Phone Number, E-mail ID.

The aspirant is suggested to complete the form with their correct details. Because your credential will be verified by the commission. If any case, information find incorrect then your application may be rejected. Note one thing that only one application form from one region is acceptable by a candidate.

Step 2: Form Filling
  • After submitting the basic details in the form, a new page will appear on the desktop screen.
  • Here, candidates need to fill the following details in the SSC GD Constable Application Form Step 2
  1. Name and code of the state/Union Territory
  2. Personal Information
  3. Category
  4. Education qualification
  5. Work experience
  6. Residential address, name, and signature of the candidate
Step 3: Uploading Photo & Signature

In the step 3rd, candidates have to upload the scanned photo and signature in the prescribed manner. And continue by paying the complete payment of the Application process of SSC GD Constable

  • Here, applicants need to enter the Registration Number & Password for continuous process.
  • For uploading the photo and signature, candidates have to follow the guidelines mentioned in the table.

  • Now click on the “Upload” button and select the scanned photo from the drive of the computer.
  • Afterwards, click on the “OK” button.
  • The photo will be uploaded automatically.
Step 4: SSC GD Constable Application Form Fee

The next and last step is the payment of the registration form. Make a payment as per their guidelines.

  • Firstly, log in to your account on the official site of the SSC GD i.e. www.ssc.nic.in.
  • Next, click on the Apply option placed on the top of the page and reach to the offline challan and hit on the link.
  • Enter your registration Id and password and then click on the submit button.
  • Applicants should take a printout of the challan and show it to the nearest SBI branch for payment method.
  • Reserved category applicants and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Documents Required

While filling the online application form, the candidates require the below-listed documents. So applicants are advised to prepare all the documents before filling the form:

  • Candidate’s Aadhaar card require
  • Original certificates of 10th
  • If applicants belong to the SC/ST/OBC category, prepare a caste certification for concession in the fees.
  • If the applicant is physically handicapped, then they should have a PwD certificate.
