How is Karnataka PWD Merit List Prepared for the final selection?

 Karnataka Public Works Department prepares a Final KPWD Merit List after evaluating the score obtained by the candidates in the Written Competitive Examination and Interview round. 85% weightage is given to the competitive exam and 15% to the Interview. While preparing the KPWD Merit List 2024, the category of the candidates is also kept in mind. Once all these parameters are observed by the authorities, the authorities shortlist the name of the candidates who have scored the highest overall scores in each section of the exam, and then cut-off marks for each category is set, based on these cut-off marks (for each category) the candidates are recruited.
