JK SET Exam Cut-off 2024

The JK SET cutoff of 2024 is the minimum qualifying mark that the candidates must acquire to become qualified for the exam.

Candidates who have appeared for the JK SET Exam must get more than the cutoff marks to become selected for the post of Assistant Professors and Lecturers in the colleges of Jammu and Kashmir.

The JK SET cutoff marks are based on several factors like the total number of applicants, available vacant posts, difficulty level of the exam, reservation criteria, and previous years’ cutoff marks.

The qualifying marks for the different categories are as follows:

  • General/EWS= 40%
  • Reserved category-35%

JK SET Merit List 2024

The University of Jammu and Kashmir will release the JK SET Merit list on the official website after the declaration of the results. The candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks achieved in the JK SET Exam and the total cutoff marks.

Candidates whose names feature in the JK SET Merit list 2024 have to appear for the Document verification which is the final step for filling up the vacant posts of Assistant Professors at the University of Jammu and Kashmir.

The JK SET document verification Date will be released on the official website and candidates whose names feature in the Merit list have to appear with the required documents. The Document verification process will be based on the rank obtained by the student in the Merit list.
