Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination
About BCECE 2026:
BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) is an entrance exam which is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The purpose of this BCECE examination is to take admission of the candidates for Agriculture and Horticulture Science courses. The BCECE 2026 Exam is an offline exam, i.e., pen and paper-based tests. The duration of the BCECE Exam is 1 hour 30 minutes for each paper. Candidates will get separate question papers for all subjects in BCECE i.e. Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Agriculture. All these papers will carry 100 questions of a total of 400 marks.
Formerly, BCECE Exam 2026 was conducted for Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, and Architecture. But from the year 2026, this pattern has changed. Now, BCECEB conducts counseling for Engineering and Architecture courses based on the JEE Main scores. Also, for admission in Medical, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry courses are done on the basis of NEET scores.

BCECE 2026 Exam Eligibility Criteria:
BCECE Eligibility Criteria is very important for the candidates to know whether they could appear for the BCECE Exam 2026 or not. It is must go through the BCECE Eligibility Criteria before filling the BCECE Application Form. Given below are the BCECE Eligibility Criteria for all the candidates. Have a look.
- Only Indian candidates can apply for BCECE 2026.
- The aspirant should have a domicile of Bihar.
- Parents of the candidate must be permanent residents of State Bihar.
- Aspirants whose parents are employees in the Public Sector Undertaking of Govt. of India can apply for BCECE.
- Candidates whose parents are working in Bihar but living outside Bihar can also apply for BCECE 2026 Exam.
Educational Qualification -
Medical Courses - All the aspirants must have completed their class 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
B.Sc Nursing - Candidates must have completed their 12th with Physics, Biology as subjects with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
Pharmacy Courses - Candidates must have passed their 12th with Physics, Chemistry as the compulsory subjects, and an option, aspirants must have either maths or biology.
