What is ASRB NET Exam?

The ASRB NET or the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board for the appointment of Assistant Professors and Lecturers in the State Agricultural Universities. The ASRB NET exam is also known as the ICAR NET (Indian Council of Agricultural Research National Eligibility Test) and is a National level test.

Step 1- Eligible candidates must download the application form on the official website of the authorities. It is necessary to fill out the application form with the necessary details and upload scanned documents.

Step 2- Candidates can download their Admit Cards from the official website a few days before the exams. The Admit Card is only available on the official website and will not be sent to any candidate by post.

Step 3- The ASRB NET 2025 exam dates will be notified to the candidates via the official website. The exam is qualifying in nature and the total marks for the exam is 150. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and there is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks in the exam. The ASRB NET exam will be conducted in 2 languages- English and Hindi.

Step 4- The ASRB NET Result will be declared a few days after the exam and candidates can login to the official website with relevant credentials to download the results. Candidates who acquire the required cutoff marks will be selected for the post of Assistant Professors in the Agricultural Universities.
