Tips and Tricks for West Bengal Board 10th Exams 2024:

There are some important points given by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education for the candidates appearing for Madhyamik Pariksha (10th). These rules are mandatory to follow by all the candidates.

1. The Shorthand and Typewriting exam will be held at Kolkata and Siliguri only. The exact venue will be announced later.
2. There will be a 2 hours 15 minutes duration for Music Vocal and Music Instrumental theoretical Exam. The will be at Kolkata, Burdwan and North Bengal regions only, The date, venue, and time for the exam will be announced later on by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
3. The theoretical portion of the computer application exam will be of 2 hours and 40 minutes duration, The practical exam for this subject will be taken by the school premises itself.
4. Exam in Sewing and Needle Work will be for 4 hours 15 minutes duration.
5. Examination on RSTR, SSTR, ASTS, IT/ITES & HSTR will be of one hour forty-five minutes duration on theoretical examination. Oral, Portfolio, Project, and Direct Observation on these 5 (Five) subjects will be taken by the Sector Skill Council or individual Schools.

Instructions For West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Time Table:

• First of all, one exam will be taken each day. The time duration for all the students is the same, no one can exceed the time of 3 hours(after excluding reading time).
• 15 minutes of reading time will be given to every candidate. Candidates can read the questions 15 minutes before the exam starts and after 15 minutes they will get 3 hours to write the answers.
• All the candidates should enter the exam hall 30 mins before the exam starts.
• Students will be given admit cards through which they will get to know about the examination centre. Every student will be allotted different centres.
• No one will be allowed in the examination centre without a hard copy of the admit card.
• It is compulsory to reach the examination centre on time. No late entries will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
