• Tripura Board Class 9th Exam 2025: Tripura board also commonly known as TBSE, was established in 1973. The Board started functioning in the year 1976 on January 1st. During this period the Board was designing and developing the syllabus, curriculum, and textbooks. However, the new syllabus has been designed and adopted since the year 2015.
• Before 1973, the students of Tripura had to appear in the final exam at school and higher secondary examinations which were conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, and all the schools of Tripura have affiliated under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education also. But after the establishment of the Tripura Board, the first public examination was conducted in 1973- School Final Examination and Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary and Higher Secondary Education) and later on the higher secondary examination for 10+2 stage have designed a new system which was introduced in 1978.
• On initial days the board has started its journey from a rented building and after 15 years of its existence, it has shifted from a rented room to a four-storied building and solved all logistic problems. The new four storied building was established in 1992.
• It is a state agency managed by the State government of Tripura, which is responsible for the promotion and development of the education standards in the state. Most of the public schools follow the CBSE guidelines and are affiliated with the Tripura Board.

Tripura Board 9th Overview:

The Tripura Board conducts two major examinations quarterly half-yearly exams and final examinations, both these examinations are written and candidates are required to pass both of these examinations. The half-yearly examination consists of the exam coming from half of the syllabus and the final examinations will consist of all the syllabus mentioned in the course curriculum. Each year around 45,000 students appear for the Tripura Board Class 9th exams. The percentage between boys and girls is close to the 50-50 marker.

Since the TBSE Class 9th Exam is a non-board exam, the registration isn’t done online on the official web portal. Schools register their class 9th students for the examinations that are conducted and checked by the schools themselves. For distance learners or private individuals, the registration is done through their respective examination centers. The students must contact their specific examination centers for details.

Tripura Board Class 9th Exam Syllabus:

The syllabus for the TBSE Class 9th Exam 2025 is designed and developed in such a way that it helps students understand and evaluate the course objectives, and develop effective learning styles. The syllabus for Tripura Board Class 9th includes seven subjects that students have to study. Among them are language-based subjects.

The results for class 9th are declared by the school itself, as there is no provision for checking the result of TBSE Class 9th Exam 2025 online or on the official website, except for the private students, distance learners, etc. The private students or distance learners can also check their results through the examination centers they gave their TBSE Class 9th Exam 2025.
