Goa Board 12th Result 2024: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education( GBSHSE) was founded in 1975 and covers secondary and higher secondary education by the state-run schools in Goa, Daman, and Diu. The Education Board of Goa was founded to implement the education policies and evaluate the candidates at the secondary and higher secondary levels.

The Board exams are conducted in April/May and the results will be declared in June or July.

It is the gateway for the candidates to join the undergraduate course of their choice. The senior secondary exams are the most important in the life of the students as it helps the student to join the stream they want to study in college and get prepared for professional life.

Grade Based Marking Scheme for the Goa Board 12th HSSC Result:

The Goa Board of Education follows a grade-based marking system whereby the candidates are evaluated and graded on the basis of the marks obtained in each subject. Students who score over 90% marks will get the A grade while students below 20% will be given an I grade.

A student needs to score over 20% marks in each subject to qualify for the examination. Below are given the marks and the respective grades against each mark.

Details of Compartmental Exam System or Supplementary Exams:

Those candidates who cannot qualify for the exams at a single attempt need not worry. The Education Board of Goa gives the candidate a second chance to appear for the examination with the option of supplementary or compartmental exams.

The compartmental exams are usually conducted in July/August and can be taken by the candidates who fail in one or two subjects. The Compartmental exams or supplementary exams give the students the opportunity to appear for the exams again and perform well.

The aspiring student for the compartmental exam has to fill in the supplementary application form by visiting the official website of the Goa Education Board. After filling in the necessary details which include the result and the marks obtained the candidate needs to pay the examination fee.

The board conducts it on the respective dates and the result for the compartmental exams will be available on the official website on the declared date.

Goa Board HSSC Result 2024 Re-evaluation:

If the candidates are not satisfied with the marks obtained in a specific or multiple papers then they can apply for the process of reevaluation of the particular subject or subjects.

For the reevaluation, the candidate needs to fill up an application form and mention the subjects which are to be reevaluated. The marks obtained in those subjects should also be mentioned by the candidate.

After this, the candidate can make the payment for the exams. Students can apply with the reevaluated marks to the different colleges and study the subject they like.
